Death Metallers JOB FOR A COWBOY recently returned from the uber successful Metal Alliance Tour. The band performed alongside The Faceless, Dying Fetus, 3 Inches Of Blood, Impending Doom, Wretched, and headliners, Devildriver. Commented bassist Nick Schendzielos of the trek: "So we just finished up with the Metal Alliance tour. We had an absolutely killer time gettin' all loco with all our friends. We're also super brammed everyone's diggin’ the new tunes, which you'll be hearing more of in Japan, Puerto Rico, and of course Summer Slaughter! Thanks to everyone for picking up the new record, and make sure to hit us up on our Facebook to tell us what songs from Demonocracy you want us to play. See you soon!"
The band will bring their ruckus to Japan next month and wreak some havoc in June in San Juan, Puerto Rico before kicking off the Summer Slaughter Festival 2012! General Admission Tickets go on sale Friday April 27th. VIP tickets are available now through Soundcheck Hollywood. See all confirmed JFAC dates below.
JOB FOR A COWBOY will be touring in support of their brand NEW studio recording, 'Demonocracy', released in North America on April 10 through Metal Blade Records. The intricate, Jason Suecof-produced offering tackles various political and economic themes and continues to impressed fans and critics alike. About.com notes: “Demonocracy affords JOB FOR A COWBOY another album to legitimize their Death Metal sound, which was set forth starting with 'Ruination'… Bringing in guitarist Tony Sannicandro and Cephalic Carnage bassist Nick Schendzielos translates to dynamics not heard on any JOB FOR A COWBOY album to date,” Ultimate-Guitar boasts: “The album plays like a constant assault, and while never backing off it still manages to add enough structure for individual songs to become memorable,” adding that, “the soloing is surprisingly catchy and well-executed while still managing to sit well in the context of the songs,” while Alternative Press calls Demonocracy "an ass-kicking, skull-cracking record." Decibel agrees crowning the record a “…very stronger exercise in slickly-produced, technically sound Death Metal smart enough to know that a little variety can do a tech-death band a world of good.”

JOB FOR A COWBOY Are Coming For JAPAN - Details Available!
Death Metal collective JOB FOR A COWBOY today announce four special headlining dates in Japan! Following their trek on the Metal Alliance tour, which is currently underway, the band will play two shows in Tokyo as well as Nagoya and Okinawa beginning on May 18. Confirmed dates are below:
- 5/18/2012 Shibuya Cyclone - Tokyo, Japan w/ Unite
- 5/19/2012 Sakae R.A.D - Nagoya, Japan w/ Infernal Revulsion, Death I Am, Hostile Eyes, Neuerwind

- 5/21/2012 Chatan Salt & Papper - Okinawa, Japan w/ Illuminati, Shores, Roach, Shakes Beard
JOB FOR A COWBOY will be touring in support of their brand NEW studio recording, 'Demonocracy', released in North America last week through Metal Blade Records. The intricate, Jason Suecof-produced offering tackles various political and economic themes and continues to crush the masses nationally. In a recent review Ultimate-Guitar noted of the record: "The album plays like a constant assault, and while never backing off it still manages to add enough structure for individual songs to become memorable," adding that, "the soloing is surprisingly catchy and well-executed while still managing to sit well in the context of the songs." Alternative Press calls Demonocracy "an ass-kicking, skull-cracking record," while Stereokiller agrees: "…a solid slab of some really heavy technical Death Metal. JOB FOR A COWBOY has separated themselves from former peers such as All Shall Perish and Whitechapel, and has now firmly fitted themselves with the likes of Suffocation and Dying Fetus."
In related news, the fourth in the "The Leads Are Weak" instructional video series by guitar wizard Tony Sannicandro is currently posted for your viewing pleasure. Subtitled "Getting Sexual," Sannicandro elaborates: "One of the most important things to me in soloing is good phrasing. The first half of the 'Misery Reformatory' solo is a pretty cool example of good phrasing that fits the song. It would have been easy to go to the classic E-minor and start burning like the clap, but I figured it would be better to break it down a little simpler and make it sexy. This is easy to play but it's a good lesson in outlining the solo like the curves of a beautiful broad." See for yourself!

JOB FOR A COWBOY's 'Demonocracy' Out TODAY; NEW Behind-The-Scenes Video Available!
JOB FOR A COWBOY's long-anticipated NEW full-length 'Demonocracy' is out TODAY through Metal Blade Records. Produced by Jason Suecof (Black Dahlia Murder, Whitechapel, Trivium) at Audiohammer Studios, the complex Death Metal opus, tackles a host of political and economic themes and has already reaped the praise of fans and critics nationally. Metal Army America opines in an A+ review: "History was made with this album," while Craveonline agrees: "JOB FOR A COWBOY…produce ugly music for an ugly world. Crowned “an ass-kicking, skull-cracking record,” in a 4/5 review by Alternative Press, the nine-track production tackles a host of political and economic themes including media propaganda, the “war industry” and the staggering debts faced by America.
Visit the band’s OFFICIAL METAL BLADE PAGE (see link bellow) for Demonocracy pre-order info, limited edition merch bundles and the third in a series of instructional video posts featuring guitar wizard Tony Sannicandro. Dubbed "The Leads Are Weak," the mini clips offer playing tips and an up-close look at Sannicandro's astounding skills and technique. In the third installment, Sannicandro performs an exercise called “double dutch.” Sannicandro elaborates: "This is a two-note per string lick that incorporates a slight Dimebag feel and some chromatics. Two notes per string is often neglected by many guitar players, because three notes a string is much easier to get up to speed, but two note patterns are an OG way to put some bluesy flavor in your lick-age."

DYING FETUS Premiere NEW Song "Subjected To A Beating" - Lyric Video Available!
DYING FETUS have confirmed a June 17th release date for their NEW album entitled 'Reign Supreme'. The album will feature nine tracks and is a "return to roots" with production focused slightly more on slam than in the band's last few works. Thematically, the album is set to be a good old-fashioned piece of social and political commentary in the style of DYING FETUS as we have come to know. The album artwork for 'Reign Supreme' has been revealed and can be viewed on our video interview below. Here is a NEW song from 'Reign Supreme' entitled "Subjected To A Beating".

Produced by Jason Suecof (Black Dahlia Murder, Whitechapel, Trivium) at Audiohammer Studios, and featuring another intricate and thought-provoking cover design by artist Brent Elliott White, 'Demonocracy' is scheduled for North American release on April 10, 2012 through Metal Blade Records.

DevilDriver Bassist Aaron "Bubble" Patrick Leaves The Hospital Following Near Death Experience - Statement From DEZ FAFARA Available!
As previously reported, DevilDriver bassist Aaron "Bubble" Patrick was hospitalized with pneumonia. After undergoing a series of tests, he was diagnosed with Streptococcus Pneumonia (a very serious condition). As a result, he is not part of the 2012 "Metalliance Tour" with his band DevilDriver. "Bubble's" former Bury Your Dead bandmate Chris Towing, is filling in for "Bubble"!
Yesterday (March 21), we had the chance to talk with DevilDriver's own Dez Fafara about "Bubble's" health status. This is what he had to say about it.
"Bubble left the hospital today, but needs to get a lot of rest following this terrible illness. Our concern right now is that "Bubble" fully recovers... when he arrived at the hospital the situation was very serious. It was touch and go for a few days. His mom was told that he might not make it. We in DevilDriver need to reassess the entire situation and see how we are going to do things in the future. I was surprised that "Bubble" suffered this illness, he is the fittest member of the band... He doesn't drink, he is straight edge. I think he may have caught the illness on the airplane when we were flying back from Australia. You never know if the person next to you is sick or not. I am very happy that "Bubble" is pulling through!"
We wish "Bubble" a quick and healthy recovery! Please kepe sending him your Metallic vibes!

WRETCHED Premiere Music Video For "Dilated Disappointment"
“The song is about the regrets you’d feel watching the world come to an end”, says vocalist Adam Cody. He adds, “The message is more about feeling the anxious and angry content of the song rather than a cinema experience.”
WRETCHED will support their upcoming album, 'Son Of Perdition' on the Metal Alliance Tour. Check out tour dates below.

DevilDriver Bassist To Miss "Metalliance Tour" Due To Illness - Official Statement Available!
As previously reported, DevilDriver bassist Aaron "Bubble" Patrick was hospitalized with pneumonia. After undergoing a series of tests, he has been diagnosed with Streptococcus Pneumonia (a very serious condition). As a result, he will not be able to headline the 2012 "Metalliance Tour" with his band DevilDriver. The DevilDriver camp has announced that "Bubble's" former Bury Your Dead bandmate Chris Towing, will be filling in for the entire tour!
Here is the Official statement from Jane, who is "Bubble's" mother:
"The Streptococcus pneumonia has damaged Aaron's liver, kidneys and bone marrow. He has been able to cough up a fair amount of infection, but his lungs are still very full. Along with the pneumonia, there have also been a series of side effects that are taking a toll on his body. A horrible case of pancreatitis has developed, which caused his fever to persist. He is still dependent on oxygen and cannot be released until he can breathe sufficiently and the oxygen is not required.
"So now his release date may be pushed back until early next week, March 20? Then he must rest at least a week before getting on a plane, as the lungs cannot take the pressure. I am hoping to get him home on a non-stop flight around the 30th of March. He will have to again rest for weeks. The doctor told me it was touch and go before I got [to the hospital]. We are hopeful for release early next week.
"Prayers, please!"
We wish "Bubble" a quick and healthy recovery! Please send him your Metallic vibes!
Metalliance Tour, featuring DevilDriver, Dying Fetus, The Faceless, Job For A Cowboy, 3 Inches Of Blood, Impending Doom, and Wretched.
