This February/March 2013, Rock the Nation America is proud to present the elite from the dark way of the force, some of Metal's darkest and most ambitious prodigies that the scene has to offer. From the cold lands of Sweden, the return of the infernal Black Metal sons MARDUK. Co-headlining is Portugal's dark gothic heavy hitters MOONSPELL... Both promise a show you won't soon forget! Backing the assault is Colombian/USA Black Metal rising demons INQUISITION. Continuing the event in fashion is Italy's gothic melodic sensation THE FORESHADOWING, and to start up the fire, introducing Sweden's dark Rock/Metal band DEATH WOLF (featuring MARDUK members).

We invite you all to witness the charm and power of 'Alpha Noir' and 'Omega White' but also to celebrate with us our Twentieth anniversary as a band and time travel with us to 'Wolfheart,' 'Irreligious' and songs never played before in the American territory. The time has come to gather the pack, let the games begin!!!"

"INQUISITION is pleased to accept the invitation for a return to a second North American tour and evoke the magic of our majesty", adds Dagon from INQUISITION. "We hope to see those who missed us recently and those loyal supporters who choose to return. This shall be our final full North American tour until the new album is released in late 2013".

1349 Premieres Music Video For "When I Was Flesh" - Watch If You Dare!

Norwegian Black Metallers 1349 have a brand NEW video for their song "When I Was Flesh", and you should watch it now (see below)! The performance footage for the clip was shot on September 10, 2011 at Rockefeller in the capital of Black Metal, Oslo, Norway. The video was direced and edited by S.A Destroyer at Necrolab Studio and was produced by Concept Machine I:A.



In other 1349 news, the band has kidnapped JOB FOR A COWBOY's Jon "The Charn" Rice and will chain him to the drum set on their upcoming North American tour were 1349 will be main support for MARDUK. The trek, which kicks off June 2 in Baltimore, marks 1349's first activity on this continent since 2010, when they supported CANNIBAL CORPSE and TRIPTYKON on separate treks. That same year saw the release of the critically acclaimed 'Demonoir', which Decibel magazine called "a riff-packed, forward-looking blast of rockin'-yet-technical grimness."

Marduk Begin Recording NEW Album - Images Available!

Swedish Black Metal tyrants MARDUK have entered the studio to record the follow-up album to 2009's 'Wormwood'. This currently untitled NEW album is scheduled to be released in early summer 2012. Here are some images of Marduk demolishing sound waves in the studio.
