The Mariachi Versions Of BLACK SABBATH & SLAYER Have Arrived!

Yesterday (April 10), METALACHI, who are considered that first and only Mariachi Metal band, took over the radio airwaves at KLAQ 95.5 FM in El Paso, Texas. During their hostile takeover, they performed covers of "Iron Man" by BLACK SABBATH and "Raining Blood" by SLAYER. Check them out here:

PRIMUS Announce Special Edition Of 'Sailing the Seas of Cheese'; “Mystery Vinyl” Challenge Announced!

In a restoration personally overseen by the one and only Les Claypool, PRIMUS’ acclaimed ‘Sailing The Seas Of Cheese’ has been newly mixed in stereo and Dolby 5.1 Surround for the first time since its 1991 debut for an expanded deluxe edition. This historic release will see the light of day on May 21 via Universal Music Enterprises.

The deluxe edition will feature:

- The album’s NEW stereo mix on CD and the new 5.1 surround mix on Blu-ray or DVD
- Three exclusive, previously unreleased bonus tracks, including two live recordings from PRIMUS’ 2012 “3D Tour” and a Bassnectar Remix of “Here Come The Bastards”
- A 200-gram vinyl LP to be released on the same date also features Claypool’s NEW stereo mix of the album.

PLUS, in a “Mystery Vinyl” challenge for fans, 1000 unmarked, randomly selected copies will contain the NEW stereo mix on a yellow vinyl LP instead of black.

As previously reported, the Kings of Thrash Metal, METALLICA, returned to Mexico for six memorable performances at the Sports Palace in Mexico City on August 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, and 9. The band unveiled their NEW stage: a 140x50-foot stage that features colossal components and striking visual elements spanning Metallica's 30-year career.

"After years in the making, we are beyond excited to finally unveil the all new, out of control, massive stage and Metalli-show to some of our most rabid fans in the world.

"When we last visited Mexico City in June of 2009, those three sold out nights with over 150,000 of our craziest friends at Foro Sol Stadium were some of the most memorable, over the top, insane shows we have ever played. METALLICA Performs 'Black' Album From Back To Front At European Tour Kickoff - Video & Set List Available!

Yesterday, Monday (May 7) the Kings of Thrash Metal made their triumphant return to European soil. METALLICA's brief European tour, kicked off in the Czech Republic and the band brought the Czechs a very special surprise: the band performed their self-titled album (also known as The "Black" Album) in its entirety for the first time in history! And get this, METALLICA performed their ground breaking album from back to front.

“What a great show here in Prague to start off the 20th Anniversary of the Black Album!” a post on METALLICA’s website reported on the Czech Republic gig. “The band surprised everyone, and played it backwards! During and after Sandman, it was pyro, pyro, pyro, and pyro!!! Sandman had fireworks, Fuel had the big flames…”

In a historical twist of events, METALLICA has been forced to add a sixth Mexico City show after their five previous shows sold out in a matter of minutes! Heavy Metal's biggest band, will be performing at the Sports Palace in Mexico City on August 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, and 9.

Tickets for the sixth show will go on sale on Thursday, March 29 at 11 a.m. CST at TicketMaster.mx.
