By now you probably heard that Grunge masters SOUNDGARDEN have a NEW album coming out this fall! Today, the band unleashed the first music video from 'Live To Rise' (name of the album and their first single). Watch it now!



The song will be featured in the end credits of the movie "Marvel's The Avengers". The song is included on "Avengers Assemble", a 14-track compilation of music from and inspired by the film. "Avengers Assemble" is available now.

Today is a historic day in Heavy Music! Why? Well, you can listen to SOUNDGARDEN's first song in 15 years at the link below. Entitled "Live To Rise", the NEW SOUNDGARDEN song will be featured in the end credits of the movie "Marvel's The Avengers". The song is included on "Avengers Assemble", a 14-track compilation of music from and inspired by the film. "Avengers Assemble" will be released on May 1.

"We've been hard at work on our NEW album, which will come out this fall. When the opportunity arose to write an original song for 'Marvel's The Avengers' film came our way, we thought it could be a cool match. We are excited to release our NEW song 'Live To Rise', which is also the only NEW song in the film."
