Best Week Ever for Ozzy Osbourne!

Ozzy Osbourne has been living a dream ever since he decided to clean his act up in an attempt to live a healthier lifestyle. So far the results have been amazing for Ozzy, who is looking and sounding better than ever! With the release of "Trust Me, I'm Dr. Ozzy", a book that finds Ozzy giving medical advise (not to be taken seriously) and the his NEW movie entitled "God Bless Ozzy Osbourne", Ozzy has been very busy promoting this two massive projects. It seems like all his hard work has paid off, and as a result Ozzy is having the best week ever!

His NEW book "Trust Me, I'm Dr. Ozzy" landed at position No. 12 on the New York Times "Hardcover Advice & Misc." best sellers list. 100% Ozzy — part memoir and part advice column, delivered with Ozzy's famous wit and humor. It's comprised of reader-submitted medical and lifestyle questions, Ozzy digs deep into his murky past, searching for pearls of "wisdom."

Ozzy's NEW movie "God Bless Ozzy Osbourne" was directed by his son Jack Osbourne and it is a movie about the life of one of the most influential Heavy Music musicians of all time. The film premiered on April 24 at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City and received the following review from Entertainment Weekly:

"What could have been a glossy, fawning tribute to the most visible face in heavy metal music history — especially considering it was co-produced by his son, Jack — actually turned out to be a remarkably evenhanded look at Ozzy's monumental musical influence as well as his less exemplary life as an addict and often-absent father."

He also appeared as a guest on Tuesday's (October 25) edition of the CBS program "The Talk", which is co-hosted by Osbourne's wife/manager Sharon. During his appearance, he discussed his new book, "Trust Me, I'm Dr. Ozzy: Advice From Rock's Ultimate Survivor", and "God Bless Ozzy Osbourne", the feature-length documentary that Ozzy's son, Jack Osbourne, co-produced. A couple of clips from the show can be seen below.

In an unconventional move for Ozzy, he recently announced that he is going vegan! That's right, Ozzy will no longer be biting the heads off of bats! Apparently, Ozzy's assistant showed him "Forks Over Knifes" (a documentary about the pluses of veganism) and this influenced Ozzy's decision. This is what Ozzy had to say about this extreme change of lifestyle.

"I feel OK actually, I feel better about myself, you know? I go on binges. That's the reason why I decided to cut out meat out and dairy because I've limited what I can have because when you're on the road and you're traveling, you grab buns and... burgers are everywhere... so now I've just narrowed the margin. I'm not saying I'm gonna do it forever; I might go back, when my wife learns to cook. So that'll be never!"
