Members Of AS I LAY DYING Comment On The Arrest Of Their Singer Tim Lambesis!

Today (May 9) is a decisive day not only for Tim Lambesis, but for the rest of AS I LAY DYING, METAL BLADE RECORDS (the bands label), and the fans of the band. Lambesis is facing some very serious charges after he got busted by an undercover Police officer for hiring a hitman to kill his wife.

As reported HERE, Lambesis is currently detained at the Vista Detention Center in Vista, CA and is scheduled to be arraigned today at 1:30 PM PT at the North Division Court.

The band is just as shocked as all of us, here is a collective statement from Tim's band mates:

To our fans,

As we post this, the legal process is taking its course and we have no more information than you do. There are many unanswered questions, and the situation will become clearer in the coming days and weeks. We’ll keep you informed as best we can.

Our thoughts right now are with Tim, his family, and with everyone else affected by this terrible situation – and with our fans, whom we love and draw strength from.

Thank you for understanding, and as always, for your support of As I Lay Dying."

- Jordan, Nick, Phil, and Josh

If found guilty, Tim could face up to 9 years in prison.
