REVOCATION have confirmed an August 6th release date for their new self-titled album via Relapse Records. This is their 4th full-length release and the first featuring new bassist Brett Bamberger. Today the band has unveiled the artwork and tracklisting for the album. The artwork was created by Orion Landau (Dying Fetus, Obscura, Nile).

Massachusetts metallers REVOCATION are finished recording the follow up to their critically acclaimed 2011 Relapse Records release 'Chaos of Forms'. This is the first full length album with bass player Brett Bamberger who joined the band in 2012 and was featured on the band's last EP 'Teratogenesis' which was released by Scion AV. Get it HERE! Massachusetts metallers REVOCATION are currently in the studio working on the follow up to their critically acclaimed 2011 Relapse Records release 'Chaos of Forms'. Frontman Dave Davidson commented on the recording progress:
"Today is the last day of tracking, just gotta finish up some vocals and then it'll ready for the mixing stage. We're all incredibly pleased with how this one turned out, it's going to be a very pissed off record but will also have some twists and turns to spice things up. We feel like this is some of our best playing laid down to date, can't wait for everyone to check out the new tunes!"
The band will take a quick break from working on their NEW album this Spring when they hit the road with Goatwhore, 3 Inches of Blood, and Ramming Speed. REVOCATIONjoins the tour in Bucksport, ME on April 28th and will play six shows winding things down in Toronto on May 3rd. A complete list of dates is below. A LIFE ONCE LOST is pleased to announce "The Man Machine Tour" 2013 with San Diego Doom Metal band Author & Punisher and extreme Chicago newcomers Encrust. The band will start out solo for a few dates in early March and will join up with Author & Punisher after a few appearances at SXSW. Encrust will join the tour for three dates in Kentucky, Illinois and Ohio. See below for a full listing of upcoming tour dates.

A few days back, the mighty REVOCATION released their amazing NEW five-song EP, 'Teratogenesis', which is currently available for FREE legal download HERE. The tour will begin October 18th in Trenton, NJ and run through November 14th in Montreal, QC. Support on the tour will come from A Life Once Lost and KEN mode. In conjunction with the tour, Scion A/V is releasing a NEW EP from REVOCATION later this month. The EP is titled 'Teratogenesis' and features the first recordings with the band's NEW bass player Brett Bamberger.

"Hey what's up guys, just wanted to give everyone an update on what's been happening in the world of Revo. As some of you have already noticed Anthony has parted ways with the band. The split was amicable and we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors. We have recently enlisted the services of Brett Bamberger and we are incredibly stoked to have him on board as an official member. Come see us live and buy him a beer."

A LIFE ONCE LOST will head out on a full U.S. tour with headliners Revocation this October and November in support of their NEW album, 'Ecstatic Trance', due out in North America on its new release date of October 22nd and internationally on November 16th via Season of Mist. Support will come from KEN mode. The tour kicks off on October 18th in Trenton, NJ and comes to a close in Allston, MA on November 13th.
Pre-orders for Ecstatic Trance are available now! The album is available for pre-order in four different versions: jewel case, CD Digipack (EU version), LP, translucent orange LP, and grey mixed LP. Last week, A LIFE ONCE LOST unveiled another new track from their upcoming full length album, Ecstatic Trance! The track, entitled ‘Something Awful’, is the first track on the album and is available for streaming at Revolver Magazine’s website, Revolvermag.com. ‘Something Awful’ is the second new A LIFE ONCE LOST track released in the past month— the first being ‘Madness is God’ which has a new lyric video to go along with it. The lyric video for ‘Madness is God’ can be viewed at the band’s official YouTube page.

A LIFE ONCE LOST and Lambgoat.com have just leaked a brand NEW update from inside Planet Red during the recording of the band’s NEW album, 'Ecstatic Trance', due out in North America on October 23rd and internationally on November 16th via Season of Mist. The video includes snippets of highly-anticipated NEW music, set to be unveiled to the world very soon.

Philadelphia, PA’s A LIFE ONCE LOST can now officially confirm that they will be heading to Planet Red in Richmond, VA on April 10th, 2012 to record the long-awaited follow-up to the band’s 2007 album 'Iron Gag'. Planet Red is owned and operated by famed producer Andreas Magnusson (The Black Dahlia Murder, Impending Doom). The band has been experimenting with new sounds and styles while staying true to their groove-tinged roots, promising to appeal to old and NEW fans alike.
“I have a lot of NEW material to work with here so it will be a breeze for us to make a super epic record,” states producer Andreas Magnusson.
“We are excited to be working with an old friend on this upcoming record,” adds frontman Bob Meadows. “Andreas has worked on some cool stuff and the chemistry between him and the band works out great. Stay tuned for some video clips of our time in the studio and random news blurbs on our Facebook and Twitter pages.”
The band will release the currently untitled NEW album with international label Season of Mist. Season of Mist is home to many other impressive acts such as Atheist, Cynic, Dillinger Escape Plan, Kylesa, Mayhem, Morbid Angel, and Watain. A LIFE ONCE LOST recently chose Baltimore, MD based artist Brian Baker to illustrate the album art.
