Opeth's NEW Album "Heritage" - Frontman Mikael Åkerfeldt track by track breakdown!

Swedish progressive Death Metal band Opeth recently released their 10th studio album titled "Heritage", which was released on September 20 (via Roadrunner Records). Additionally, the band is currently on a massive North American tour with fellow Swedish countrymen Katatonia.

Here is vocalist/guitarist Mikael Åkerfeldt of Opeth breaking down the band's new album, "Heritage", a third video will be added soon!






The band recently released a video for their first single 'The Devil's Orchard', taken from their 10th studio album titled "Heritage", which was released on September 20 (via Roadrunner Records).

Directed by the award-winning New York City-based photographer Phil Mucci, who had previously directed KORN's video for 'Oildale', the video will definitely captivate the eyesight of the legions of Opeth fans all over the world.

Opeth - Video Premiere for 'The Devil's Orchard'


Swedish progressive Death Metal band Opeth just kicked off a massive North American tour with fellow Swedish countrymen Katatonia. After performing at the legendary Webster Hall (Formerly The Ritz) in New York City for two nights in a row, the band has unleashed a video for their first single 'The Devil's Orchard', taken from their 10th studio album titled "Heritage", which was released on September 20 (via Roadrunner Records).

Directed by the award-winning New York City-based photographer Phil Mucci, who had previously directed KORN's video for 'Oildale', the video will definitely captivate the eyesight of the legions of Opeth fans all over the world.

Facts about Opeth:

- The album was produced by Opeth vocalist/guitarist Mikael Åkerfeldt, who also mixed the album alongside Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree).

- It was recorded at Atlantis studios (formerly Metronome studios) in Stockholm, Sweden.

- The album's artwork was designed by Travis Smith, with the guidance of Åkerfeldt (see below).

- The album was made available as a standard version, special edition loaded with extras, a box set exclusive to the Roadrunner and the band's own official Omerch webstore, and as a double LP.
