Immolation Announce North American Headlining Tour!

In March of 2010, New York Death Metal outfit Immolation released their eighth studio album titled "Majesty and Decay" via Nuclear Blast Records. The album was recorded in Millbrook Sound Studios in New York and produced by Paul Orofino. There are plenty of miserable and militant movements to please the diehard and new IMMOLATION fans alike." - Immolation

Their new video for their song "A Golorious Epoch" was produced by Tommy Jones from the Studio in New Jersey.

Unearth's Trevor Phipps & Buz McGrath Discuss NEW Album & World Tour!

Unearth unleashed their fifth studio album titled "Darkness In the Light" on July 5th in North America via Metal Blade Records, and they proved once again that they sonically have what it takes to keep flying the Heavy Music flag up high with pride and plenty of adrenaline. The band is currently part of the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival and have had no problem at all delivering their famous blend of hard hitting Hardcore Metal to the masses. With "Darkness In the Light" Unearth made it clear that they are not going to kiss ass to the status quo by compromising their sound, image, and vision of disorder.

Recently, the band performed in Hartford, Connecticut, as part of the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival, and we had the chance to catch up with Unearth's vocalist Trevor Phipps and axe man Buzz McGrath right before the band took over center stage at the Jägermeister Stage. During the interviews we discussed their new album, life on the road, and their upcoming World Tour.

"I think this one is furthering our sound sine its more dynamic than our last couple of records. Its got a lot to offer... Its heavy! Its got melodic parts and great guitar work. I think the whole band band brought their A game." - Trevor Phipps

"Have a good time, all the time! I guess is our credo... We get up there, and try to convey the feelings that we have on stage of just having a good time to the people that are at the shows." - Buz McGrath

Without further due, here is our dual interview with Trevor and Buz from Unearth!

Behemoth's Nergal Featured on the Summer Issue of Terrorizer Magazine!

As we all know, Behemoth had to take a forced break when their vocalist/guitar Adam "Nergal" Darski was diagnosed with Leukemia early last year. In order for Nergal to get the treatment he needed, his fans united in order to find him a match that could donate some bone marrow in order for Nergal to be able to get a bone marrow transplant. Following the chemo therapy, and the bone marrow transplant, Nergal is cancer free!

In order to honor Poland's Heavy Metal ambassador, Terrorizer Magazine (The World's Most Dangerous Magazine) decided to make put Nergal on the cover of their Summer issue, along with in depth article about the Behemoth frontman! Here it is.

"I'm honored to be once again featured on the cover of most elite extreme Metal magazine! It’s a very well written, in depth story I couldn’t be more proud of. Read and enjoy!" - Nergal

Coheed and Cambria Dismiss Bassist Michael Todd

On July 10th, Coheed and Cambria bassist Michael Todd was arrested by Attleboro, MA Police, after showing a Walgreens pharmacist a note on his cell phone which said he had a bomb and that he wanted some Oxycontin. Oxycontin! Really? Then to make matters worse, he fled the scene via taxi with six bottles of pain pills. Police arrested him without any incidents outside of the Comcast Theater where Coheed and Cambria were scheduled to open up for Soundgarden (the band performed without him). He was charged with armed robbery and unlawful possession of prescription narcotics. He was released on July 25th after posting a $25,000 bail. Here is the Official statement from the band.

"After a lot of thought, introspection and discussion, Coheed and Cambria will be continuing our journey without bassist Michael Todd. We have spoken to him and this is a mutual decision between both parties. Michael was a great contributor; our hearts go out to his family and to all those who appreciate his talents. We wish him nothing but the very best.

"We are currently writing and recording songs for a new album, as well as a couple compilations this fall. We are very excited about how the songs are shaping up and can’t wait to share them with you.

"We'd like to thank Wes Styles for filling in for the live gigs in the interim, including the upcoming South America and Mexico shows. A belated thanks to Rob Gill for covering in Boston; and the biggest thank you to all of you for your unwavering support.

"A new chapter awaits." - Coheed and Cambria
