Polish extreme Metallers BEHEMOTH, who have been holed up in Hertz
Studios working on their tenth full-length album, are pleased to
announce the title of their forthcoming full-length album—'THE SATANIST'.
The album will come out in the fall of 2013 via Metal Blade Records.
"It took us over two decades to come up with a title that…says it all.
While our NEW songs artistically take surprisingly adventurous
directions, our message stands steadfast—Proud and Radical. 'THE SATANIST'
stands for undying yearning for liberation and love for freedom in all
aspects of life. Considering all our life experiences that often took
dramatic curves I couldn't think of more appropriate and fitting
statement of who and where we are now” comments BEHEMOTH front man
Nergal.
More updates will be posted as they are made
available. Fans can stay up to date with the absolute latest at
facebook.com/behemoth and twitter.com/behemothband.
Don't forget that BEHEMOTH will

Stream Of A "NEW" Trivium Parody Song!
Here is another reason why Matt Heafy from TRIVIUM rules! While the song you will listen to in a few seconds (if you dare) is not part of the bands upcoming album, it is funny as well. This is what Heafy had to say about this "NEW song":
"This was a parody song recorded right around the time of Trivium’s
'Ascendancy'. The 2004/2005 emo/post-pop punk-scene had several bands with
the “-day” in their name, with non-sensical titles.
"I figured… “Hey… I can write music like that super easily.” This took merely a few hours to write, record, mix and master.
"Paolo (Trivium) played bass, I played guitars and sang and programmed
the Boss drum machine, Jason Suecof manned the recording desk.
"I did this completely intoxicated too.
"Enjoy this oldie but goodie.
"Dedicated to anyone who thought we weren't metal enough!"
Listen to "Head On Collision With A Rose Bush Catching Fire" here!
In some serious TRIVIUM news, the band announced earlier this week that they are D O N E mixing their NEW sonic assault, and that it will be mastered early next week! Colin Richardson was the mixer for the bands sixth studio album. The effort was produced by David Draiman, frontman of DISTURBED and DEVICE. BEHEMOTH Release Studio Update & Announce Mayhem Fest Off Dates!

Polish Extreme Metallers BEHEMOTH are currently locked up at Hertz studio in Bialystok, Poland laying down some dangerous tracks for their 10th studio album. The NEW BEHEMOTH record is scheduled to be released later this year 2013 via Nuclear Blast in Europe and Metal Blade Records in North America.
While we wait patiently for NEW music to be completed, Nergal has offered the following update: "Every piece of art is born in pain… and so is ours. We've spent last couple of months on pre-production and tracking down the songs in Hertz studio. We are producing the album collectively with help of Wieslawscy brothers and Daniel Bergstrand. We are driven by a mystery… exploring territories that have been unknown to us up until now. It feels exciting and very refreshing to redefine our style and yet make a strong fuckin' statement. Wait and hear…"

SEPULTURA Return To The Primitive, Find Out Who Is Producing Their NEW Album!
It has been confirmed that SEPULTURA have hired Ross Robinson to produce their 13th studio album, the follow up to 2011's 'Kairos'. This will be the first time the band works with Robinson since 1996, which is when the bands legendary album 'Roots' was produced by Robinson.
This reunion was suggested by Monte Conner (the guy who signed SEPULTURA), who used to be the Roadrunner Records A&R chief and is now the head of Nuclear Blast Entertainment, a U.S. partnership with Nuclear Blast owner Markus Staiger.
"Monte was the guy who signed SEPULTURA to Roadrunner in 1988," SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser told Diario de Pernambuco. "It's been a nice experience working with him again. He always brought a good energy to the band. It will be very good to record in a studio that Ross and Steve know so well," Andreas said. This will mark the first time that the band records an album outside Brazil since 'Against'.
SEPULTURA currently has 13 NEW songs in various stages of completion.
"We are in the process of writing and we have already stared working on some of the lyrics. I am also working on guitar solos and other ideas," Andreas explained.
Asked what fans can fans expect from the upcoming SEPULTURA album, Andreas said: "I don't know; it's hard to say. This is the first time writing with [latest SEPULTURA addition] Eloy Casagrande on drums and everything sounds fresh. You'll just have to wait to hear it. It's very difficult to describe what we're doing, but I can say that will be one of the strongest SEPULTURA albums to date. It will be definitely one of the best albums in the history of SEPULTURA."

TRIVIUM's Matt Heafy Talks About Album # 6
TRIVIUM recently announced that they are D O N E tracking their NEW sonic assault! The bands sixth studio album is being produced by David Draiman, frontman of DISTURBED. Here is what Draiman had to say about working with TRIVIUM!
The bands very own Matt Heafy, recently chatted with Roadrunner Records about the production of #6 and how the band ended up crossing paths with Draiman. A few excerpts of the interview follow:
How was the decision made to have David Draiman produce the new record?
I’ll backtrack and I’ll give you the whole story. When Disturbed did their first tour ever, I was like 16 or 17 years old. It was Danzig headlining, Six Feet Under direct support and Disturbed opening. That was the first time I ever saw Disturbed. Throughout the years…in 2005, we finished our show in Chicago – we were supporting Danzig, we were second out of five for the Danzig/Kataklysm tour, and David Draiman just happened to be at the show. He came up and was like, “Hey, you guys are awesome, I’ve been a fan of you guys for a while,” and we were really blown away that the guy from Disturbed liked our band. So that was it – it was kind of this quick little meeting. But we’d meet every other year or so at a random show, and we’d kind of keep in touch.
One day I remember online I saw a picture of one of our fans, wearing a Trivium shirt, posing with David Draiman, and Draiman was wearing a Trivium hoodie. I was like, this is fucking awesome! He’s an actual fan. So we became friends and started bumping into each other every once in a while, and he brought us and As I Lay Dying out on their headlining tour of Australia and New Zealand. From there we were able to hang a little bit more, and then we did Mayhem together. On Mayhem, I passed him a copy of In Waves, saying “Hey man, thanks for all the support over the years, I hope you dig our new record.”
Last date of the tour, he pops in and wants to talk to me, and he tells me that never before has he felt we were ready to make the jump, before now. And when he heard In Waves, he knew that Trivium was ready to make the leap. That he’s always been a big fan, but when he heard the songs and the songwriting power that was In Waves, he wanted to work with us. And he said, If you want to work with me, I would love to work with you. And naturally we were like, Yeah, we’d love to.
We knew he worked with Disturbed production-wise from seeing it in the liner notes, but we never really knew what he did, until one day he had us at the studio and we checked out the Device stuff. And as soon as I heard it, I was like, All right, now I know who’s been doing this – not to take anything away from Disturbed, because I know it takes those four dudes to make it what it is, but when I heard the ingredients that I really loved as a singer and a songwriter and a melody writer in the stuff that David was doing with Device, I was like OK, I see that the ingredients are in this that I loved from Disturbed, so David is definitely a producer.
After we heard that, we were like, Yeah, we’ve gotta work together. So we passed demos to each other – it might have been over a year. We started writing the demos before In Waves even came out, which we always seem to do, not because we have to but just because we feel inspired. So we’d pass him batches of demos, he’d pass us notes back, and we’d keep a bible. And we’d keep doing that throughout the touring cycle. And not doing it in a regimented way or anything, just when we felt like it was a good time to work, we’d work and send it to him, and he would give us great critiques, and the songs kept getting better and better from a distance. Finally we built up a schedule and moved in with him for about two months. And the record was made, and now we’re back home.

DISTURBED's David Draiman Talks About Producing TRIVIUM's Sixth Studio Album!
TRIVIUM recently announced that they are D O N E tracking their NEW sonic assault! The bands sixth studio album is being produced by David Draiman, frontman of DISTURBED. Here is what he had to say to ArtistDirect.com about working with the TRIVIUM boys on their latest effort:
"I just finished tracking the Trivium record. We're getting that
mixed sometime this week. I've been friends with those guys for a while,
but their last record is really what drew me to them. 'In Waves' was
a big record for them. It opened the door, as far as I was concerned
for us to be able to work together from a creative standpoint. I think
they took a big step with that record. This album we just finished is
another gigantic step for them. What we've been working on is all I've
been listening to."
He also talks about his own work on the self-titled debut album by his own NEW band, DEVICE! Here is the entire article!

TRIVIUM: Studio Update Available For # 6
After a successful European tour with AS I LAY DYING, CALIBAN and UPON A BURNING BODY at the end of last year, at the beginning of 2013 Florida's TRIVIUM locked themselves up to record the follow up for 2011's 'In Waves' (available now via Roadrunner Records). For their sixth studio album, the band recruited DISTURBED's frontman David Draiman as head of the project.
The band has just announced that they are D O N E tracking their NEW sonic assault! The next order of business is for the band to mix and master the record (they haven't announced who will take care of this yet), and then to start teasing your ears with the next generation of TRIVIUM music! It is safe to assume that the band will release their NEW record before the Summer festival season begins. So get stoked!
