Read on for a few reviews of the already critically acclaimed 'Silencing Machine':

"While not as outwardly experimental as 'Assassins' and 'Addicts' genre cross-breeding, 'Silencing Machine' still pushes [NACHTMYSTIUM's] sound forward, bringing the psychedelic and post-punk influences into an organic synthesis with their anthems to the welkin at midnight." -- DECIBEL MAGAZINE

"After releasing two albums--2008's 'Assassins: Black Meddle Part 1' and 2010's 'Addicts: Black Meddle Part 2'--that strayed significantly from the band's black metal roots, Chicago's NACHTMYSTIUM have returned to the wintry void with their latest, 'Silencing Machine.'" -- REVOLVER MAGAZINE

"NACHTMYSTIUM has always been the torchbearer when it comes to pushing black metal's boundaries to unthinkable, un-forest locales and while 2008's 'Assassins: Black Meddle Part I' and 2010's 'Addicts: Black Meddle Part II' were impressive bouts of exploratory surgeries, it is 'Silencing Machine' that is the true follow-up to NACHTMYSTIUM catalogue highlight 'Instinct: Decay'..." -- BRAVE WORDS

"The tracks are brutal, melodic, and powerful, merging all the best elements of NACHTMYSTIUM into one potent mix." -- HAILS AND HORNS

To give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of 'Silencing Machine', NACHTMYSTIUM has now launched the fourth of five in-studio videos featuring exclusive footage and interviews with the band. Filmed and edited by Justin Baron, who recently did the YAKUZA documentary, part 4 spotlights synths/electronics specialist and producer Sanford Parker, and it can be viewed here:

NACHTMYSTIUM Premiere Title Track & Reveal Cover Artwork For 'Silencing Machine'

Over the past few years, NACHTMYSTIUM has been widely heralded for their unique brand of psychedelic, Pink Floydian Black Metal, earning them "album of the year" accolades and praise for 'Black Meddle Pt.1: Assassins' (2008) and 'Black Meddle Pt. 2: Addicts' (2010) from critics and fans alike. But as a band that's always on the move, the Chicago outfit is ready to bring their 6th full length album, 'Silencing Machine', back to the more traditional Black Metal sound found on their break-through album, 'Instinct: Decay' (2006). Recorded at Engine Studios with the band's own synths/electronics specialist Sanford Parker (YOB, PELICAN) handling Producer duties, 'Silencing Machine' is, as front-man/lead guitarist Blake Judd puts it, "A fuckin' Black Metal record".

Set to be released on July 30th in Europe and July 31st in North America via Century Media Records, 'Silencing Machine' promises to be the next celebrated chapter in NACHTMYSTIUM's storied career. For a first preview of what's to come, listen to the title track "Silencing Machine", and an exclusive interview with Judd are now available on Pitchfork.com's "Show No Mercy": http://pitchfork.com/features/show-no-mercy/8852-industrial-revolution/
