HOW TO DESTROY ANGELS: TRENT REZNOR Breaks His Silence And Announces NEW Label Home!

Have you been wondering why the multifaceted musician Trent Reznor has been up to? After en extended absence from the music world, has broken his silence. Here is what Reznor posted on his Facebook page:

"Sorry for the radio silence lately... I've been busy! There's a number of things to be revealed over the coming months. Some you may expect, others you may not. Patience, my friends.

"Today's news is about my band How To Destroy Angels. I'm happy to announce we've formally partnered with Columbia Records for our next series of releases. The first of these will be available in November and it's called An Omen EP. As you may have guessed, it's an EP. It contains six songs, some of which are from our full-length LP which is coming early next year.
We are making some videos, we are going to be performing live, and that's all the details I have for now on those matters.

"Regarding our decision to sign with Columbia, we've really spent a long time thinking about things and it makes sense for a lot of reasons, including a chance to work with our old friend Mark Williams. There's a much more granular and rambling answer I could give (and likely will in an interview someplace) but it really comes down to us experimenting and trying new things to see what best serves our needs. Complete independent releasing has its great points but also comes with shortcomings.

"We are all very excited about you checking out the new stuff. Wish I could tell you more, but you know how this works... it would take all the fun out of it!"

METAL HAMMER's Podcast To Be Filmed Live In London, England!

Be afraid. Be very afraid. And excited. But moreso afraid. For the first time in history and owing to huge demand (AKA a few family members and some guy called Ceril on Twitter), the Metal Hammer Podcast is going to be filmed in front of a live studio audience at the Leicester Square Theatre in London, on Friday November 23 from at 9 PM.

Merl, Hill and Amit will all be there live and in the flesh, chatting through some of this year’s biggest Metal news stories, picking needless arguments and pitching questions from those in attendance.

These wallies are going to be on a stage in Leciester Square. Think about that.

“It’s going to be massive. Fucking massive,” said Merl in a statement. “I agree, fucking massive,” added Hill. “I also agree that ‘fucking massive’ is how I would describe what this is going to be,” mooted Amit.

Expect music chat, Axl Rose-bashing, Iron Maiden-loving, News Up Your Ass-ing, High Fiving, Reviews, reviews, reviews… reviewing, utter stupidity and maybe, just maybe, some very special guests. Trust, this is going to be massive.

Tickets are a measly £6, so get booking below to grab your chance to become a part of Podcast history. Be excited. NOW.
