THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER Added To METALLICA's Orion Music and More Festival in June?

The Black Dahlia Murder have been confirmed for Metallica's first-ever music festival. The fest is scheduled for June 23rd and June 24th at Baddon Field in Atlantic City, NJ. The Black Dahlia Murder will be performing on the "Damage Inc." stage, which features some of the 'heavier' acts billed for the festival, including: Sepultura, Suicidal Tendencies, Landmine Marathon, Torche, Thy Will Be Done, and more. The Black Dahlia Murder is scheduled to perform at 5:15pm on Sunday, the 24th, right before stage headliners, Sepultura. The full festival line up, as well as the running order of the stages, can be seen now at OrionMusicAndMore.com.

The Black Dahlia Murder vocalist Trevor Strnad adds: "We are truly honored to be considered for the lineup of the first ever Orion festival. Metallica is one of the bands biggest influences…to say we are excited would be a major understatement. We will do our best to crush Atlantic City in their honor… Hails!"

Orion Music and More will feature 30+ acts across four stages with Metallica headlining both nights. They will play "Ride The Lightning" in its entirety on Saturday and "The Black Album" on Sunday to commemorate that album's 20th anniversary. There are also events scheduled that are tied to the personal passions of each member of Metallica, including a Custom Car & Motorcycle show, Billabong All Out Air Assault Surfing Expedition, Ktulu's Rock 'N' Roll Emporium, and more. There's truly something for everyone: Metal, Indie, Punk, Alternative, and Comedy acts. For tickets and more information, click HERE.
