As previously reported, legendary Heavy Metal band BLACK SABBATH will be performing one show in the United States this summer. It has just been confirmed that Black Sabbath will play this year’s Lollapalooza festival in Chicago,
US, alongside the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Florence And
The Machine, Jack White from White Stripes, Die Antwoord, and Yellow Ostrich. Lollapalooza will take place on
August 3 - 5 at the Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois.
This is the first show confirmed since it was announced that Tony Iommi is currently fighting cancer.
The only other confirmed BLACK SABBATH will take place at this year’s Download festival. Download Festival will take place on June 8 - 10 at
Donington Park, England
As of yet the situation surrounding drummer Bill Ward seems to remain unresolved.
