Metal Blade Records recording artist THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, have been grinding ferociously in the recording studio in order to deliver the follow up to 2011's critically acclaimed album 'Ritual'.
The band has just announced that their sixth studio album, which should see the light of day this June, is entitled 'Everblack'.
The band is currently tracking drums with producer Eyal Levi (DAATH, WHITECHAPEL, SIX FEET UNDER) in Detroit, Michigan. The vocal and guitar parts will be recorded at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida, with producer Jason Suecof at the helm.
As previously reported, the bands drummer Shannon Lucas left the band late last year in order to focus on other endeavors. So who is recording drums instead of Lucas? Well, Alan Cassidy (ABIGAIL WILLIAMS) sat behind the kit for the band's recent trek with DETHKLOK,
MACHINE HEAD and ALL THAT REMAINS. So he might be the man laying the beats down on the NEW sonic assault by TBDM!
Stay tuned for more details about the NEW TBDM album 'Everblack'!
