BOLT THROWER Are Returning To The U.S. With BENEDICTION & AUTOPSY - Details Available!

Bolt Thrower have continued their 'quality not quantity' approach to playing live and that has definitely paid off. In 2010 they played a number of shows and festivals across Europe, and from playing more intimate underground shows (in keeping with their roots), they can also pull off playing to a festival crowd of 30,000 people. That's why, as they reached and moved beyond their 25th Anniversary, Bolt Thrower are still at the top of their game.

Finally, after only a handful of North American dates in the past few years, limited to Maryland Deathfest, Bolt Thrower has announced the "Return To Chaos" tour! The band will perform seven shows across the US in May. The confirmed dates are listed below, and include the Maryland Deathfest, Chaos in Tejas, as well as club shows in Pomona, CA, Seattle, WA, Chicago, IL, and more.

Bolt Thrower adds: "And it's our pleasure to announce that for all the club shows we'll be sharing the stage with our fellow compatriots Benediction; and for the Pomona and Oakland shows we'll also be joined by the mighty Autopsy!"

MARYLAND DEATH FEST Venue Announced; Show Nearly SOLD OUT Thanks To Historic Lineup!

As previously reported, the entire lineup for the 2013 MARYLAND DEATH FEST has been announced! The historic event that is scheduled to take place during the weekend of May 23-26, 2013 at the Former Sonar Compound and at the Baltimore Soundstage in Baltimore, Maryland, promises to be one of the best music festivals of 2013. Just look at the mouth watering lineup below.

 The following ticket options are still AVAILABLE:

- 3 Day Pass for bands only at the former Sonar compound
- Thursday only tickets for former Sonar compound

The following ticket options are SOLD OUT:

- 4 Day Pass for all bands at both venues
- 4 Day Pass for bands only at the former Sonar compound
- 3 Day Pass for Baltimore Soundstage

NOTE from the organizers: We will not be making any of the sold out options available again! There is a set amount that can be sold and they have all been sold. Once the list of bands for each day has been posted on October 31, It will be possible to purchase single day tickets for access to just the former Sonar compound OR Baltimore Soundstage. The single day tickets for Soundstage only will be limited to 300 per day.

KING DIAMOND Confirms First-Ever U.K. Festival Appearance!

After six years of a forced touring hiatus, KING DIAMOND triumphantly returned to the stage earlier this year and performed at European festivals Hellfest and Sweden Rock. It has been announced that "The King" will be Friday night's closing performance at Bloodstock Open Air 2013! This memorable event marks not only their first-ever U.K. festival appearance, but their first U.K. show of any kind in many years and will be their only U.K. date in 2013!

As previously reported, KING DIAMOND, BOLT THROWER, TESTAMENT and CHILDREN OF BODOM have all been confirmed next year's Tuska festival! Finland's Heavy Metal fest will take place between June 28-30 in Suvilahti, Helsinki, Finland.

But why was KING DIAMOND forced to take a forced hiatus? In case you don't remember, on November 29, 2010, King Diamond was taken to hospital, where they discovered several blockages in his arteries due to his heavy smoking habit. They determined that he had several heart attacks and that he needed triple-bypass surgery. The surgery was performed successfully. On December 11, 2010 it was announced that he was at home recovering.

WOW! KING DIAMOND, BOLT THROWER, TESTAMENT and CHILDREN OF BODOM have all been confirmed next year's Tuska festival! Finland's Heavy Metal fest will take place between June 28-30 in Suvilahti, Helsinki, Finland.







Before you keep reading! Lets take a moment to thank god (or satan) that the KING is alive and well and playing shows again!







In the past years, the attendees of Tuska festival have complained about Tuska (the area were the festival takes place), so the the area will undergo changes and improvements in order to enhance the atmosphere and functionality. Details will be announced later.

A limited edition of special prized three-day Tuska tickets will go on sale tomorrow, Friday October 5 through Tiketti.fi and Lippupalvelu.fi for 110 euros (plus ticket agency fee).

Start date of regular 2013 ticket sales, ticket price and ticket categories will be announced later.

One of the bands that will be crushing ear drums at next years festival is BOLT THROWER, the legendary British Thrash Metallers. Additionally, SLEEP, CARPATHIAN FOREST, REVENGE, ABIGAIL, CRUCIAMENTUM, SPEEDWOLF, AMBASSADOR GUN, ANHEDONIST and ASTHMA CASTLE, will all be performing live at the historic event that is scheduled to take place during the weekend of May 23-26, 2013 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Bolt Thrower Announces Vinyl Re-issues & Pre-order information!

British Death Metallers Bolt Thrower have been a staple within the Heavy Music scene since their inception in 1986. With eight studio albums, 3 EP's, and even a Live Album, the band never ceases to impress their devoted fan-base. In celebration of their 25th anniversaty, the band has just announced that on January 17, 2012, their legendary albums "Mercenary, Honour Valour Pride" and "Those Once Loyal" will be reissued via Metal Blade Records.

Bolt Thrower comments on their 25th Anniversary: "Anniversaries are kind of easy to achieve. For a band, just don't split up and you'll reach one, whether it's 10, 20 or 35 years. And this year we've reached '25 years of not splitting up'!

"We managed to stop others from making a big fuss about it, and didn't give in to the numerous offers and suggestions on how we should cash in on it! But it has made us appreciate the opportunities we've been given since 1986, and that we've been able to do everything we wanted to do without compromising in any way. We've been lucky enough to have played a lot of killer shows with great bands and met a lot of very cool people over the years, and we think that's the stuff that deserves some kind of celebration.

"So, we want to organize a Bolty Birthday Bash, where we can reunite with some of these bands and invite you, the people who have supported us over the last 25 years. We were hoping to have everything worked out by now, but it turns out organizing a free show comes with its own unique problems, but we'll get there in the end! Well, that's all we can say for now, there will be more news to come soon, so keep checking back."
