DragonForce Premiere Music Video For "Seasons"!

Today, European Power Metal dynamos DragonForce are bringing you the premiere of the second music video from their NEW album, 'The Power Within' (available now via Roadrunner Records). 'The Power Within', the band's fifth studio album, is the bands first effort with NEW singer Marc Hudson.

"With each of our records, we kind of got more extreme in terms of using wacky keyboard noises and strange sounds," guitarist Sam Totman told Guitar World late last year. "But the new one is almost going back to a more straightforward Metal style."

DragonForce Are Taking Over North America This Spring. Are You Ready?

European Power Metal dynamos DragonForce have announced plans to return to North America for a spring tour. This outing marks the band's first full trek with brand NEW singer Marc Hudson, who also makes his recorded debut on 'The Power Within'. The album lands at retail on April 17.

Hudson premiered his voice at a series of intimate North American gigs last fall. The performances were met with much praise and approval from the band's diehard fanbase. Now the vocalist will be able to showcase his pipes to other parts of the country and beyond, where a similar reaction is expected for this talented up 'n comer with undeniable chops.

The tour kicks off April 21 at the annual New England Metal and Hardcore Fest in Worcester, Massachusetts and makes several stops on the East Coast before winding through Canada and into the Midwest before wrapping out west on May 11 in Anaheim, California. L.A.-based Metal warriors Holy Grail, and Huntress, a five-piece Metal band lead by vocalist Jill Janus, who delivers an unparalleled four-octave range thanks to her opera background, will provide support on this run.

London-based Metal superstars DragonForce are gearing up for the release of their brand NEW ass kicking album. Entitled 'The Power Within', this 10-track monster marks the band's fifth studio album and its first with NEW singer Marc Hudson behind the microphone. It will be released on April 15 via Roadrunner Records in the U.S.

Today, Metal Hammer is premiering "Fallen World," the first song from the upcoming DragonForce album The Power Within. The NEW DragonForce albums possesses some of their fastest—and some of their heaviest—work to date. Says guitarist Herman Li, "This time around we've really brought our metal side to the surface and made some of the best music of our career. Today, MassConcerts, who are the organizers of the annual music festival dubbed as "The New England Metal & Hardcore Festival", announced that DRAGONFORCE will be performing on the second day of the 14th edition of this annual music fest. The festival is scheduled to take place on the weekend of April 20-22, 2012.

"The New England Metal & Hardcore Festival", is the largest and longest running Metal and Hardcore festival in the United States. First Los Angeles, then Toronto, and now New York City. The mighty DragonForce announce the last in a trio of special, intimate shows on October 21st at New York’s Gramercy Theater. DragonForce’s return to New York will be their first since 2009, and will give fans and media the unique opportunity to preview the band’s new singer Marc Hudson and whet their appetites for what’s to come with some brand new material from their highly anticipated forthcoming album.

This special show will be the band’s only East Coast appearance in the US before moving to the big stage with full production for their World Tour, which commences early 2012.
