Yesterday (February 10), HALESTORM broke all musical boundaries and proved that they are force to be reckoned within the music world. They also made it very clear that the Heavy Music world is ready for the next generation of music. In a huge way, HALESTORM winning the Grammy for "Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance" for their song "Love Bites (So Do I)" is an indication that there is a NEW generation of music fans and that perhaps old school artists such as IRON MAIDEN, MEGADETH and ANTHRAX, have to step their game up so they don't become irrelevant in the ever-changing music roller coaster. Here is video of the band accepting the award.
But it wasn't all champagne toasts and high fives for the HALESTORM camp last night. Allegedly, while the band celebrated their first GRAMMY ever, the girlfriend of the bands drummer Arejay Hale was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital via ambulance. The following video captures the moment in which paramedics arrive, as well as when the band makes their way to the hospital.
