Geoff Tate Takes Cell Phone Away From A Fan In The Midst Of A Concert - Video Available!
Wow! This is absolutely insane! Geoff Tate, the lead vocalist for the second lineup of Queensrÿche (yeah, there are two Queensrÿche's at the moment), seems to be losing control of his temper. While we understand that it has to be frustrating to be let go from your band because of "outright business necessity" (details HERE), Tate has to get it together before he loses all of his fans.
Recently, his version of Queensrÿche performed at the Arcada Theater in St. Charles, Illinois, as part of the 25th Anniversary Tour of Queensrÿche’s ‘Operation: Mindcrime’ album. 10 minutes into the concert, Tate snatched a cell phone away from a fan who was recording the show. Watch video of the incident below (it happens at around the 10:00 minute mark):

Are you retarded? He has a right to privacy while giving a concert
Actually - video recording a concert performance is illegal. Copyright extends to live performances, and videotaping a performance of copyright material by the copyright holder is a breach of copyright. (say that five times fast). It's just so rampant and the fact that every device seems to have a camera on it now, that no one polices it.
