We have all witnessed hipster poseurs wearing band swag from bands they have no clue about, simply because they think it will look cool on them.For example the picture aboveof Justin Bieber wearing a NUCLEAR ASSAULT t-shirt and a jean vest covered in patches from D.R.I., SODOM, NAPALM DEATH and other bands.
Thankfully, Jimmy Kimmel sent out a correspondent over to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival to test various hipsters about bands that don't even exist on a segment called "Lie Witness News", and proved how most hipsters are poseurs. Watch this jewel now!

Last night (Wednesday, October 24), Axl Rose from GUNS N' ROSES took part in his first sit-down, live television broadcast interview in more than 20 on ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!". Keep in mind that his first broadcast interview in years aired on November 11, 2011 via VH1 Classic's "That Metal Show". That interview took place at 5:30 AM following GNR's performance on October 29, 2011 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.
This appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" is another in
a series of firsts for the celebrated GUNS N' ROSES frontman, who will
spend this fall at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for a
12-night run of shows. The historic "Appetite For Democracy" residency
will run October 31 through November 24.

This just in: the controversial GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose will be appearing on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Wednesday, October 24. This will be the first time in over 20 years that Rose takes part of a sit-down, live television broadcast interview in more than 20 years! While Rose appeared on VH1 Classic's THAT METAL SHOW last November, THAT METAL SHOW is a pre-recorded show (for which he showed up hours late).
The appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" For the telecast, The Cult performed a track from their NEW album, 'Choice of Weapon', due out May 22, as well as one of the band's classics. In addition, the band played three more songs that are available exclusively on the "Kimmel" website (link below).
'Choice of Weapon' has already begun to get stellar press reviews, with the consensus being that it's the band's best album since their Platinum-selling 'Sonic Temple'. The Cult's appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" precedes the band's busy summer touring schedule that kicks off May 25 in San Diego, CA with the first leg of its 2012 North American Tour. The 20-date trek will take the band to major and secondary markets across the continent, and includes shows in New York and Los Angeles. A three-week European trek, where the band will headline their own concerts as well as share stages with Ozzy and Guns N' Roses, begins in Belgrade on June 28.

Heavy music legends KISS, are scheduled to takeover national television on the Tuesday, March 20 episode of ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" (which will actually air the morning of Wednesday, March 21). Korn will release two digital bundles of remixes for the hit single “Narcissistic Cannibal,” in which they collaborated with Skrillex and Kill the Noise, from the December-released 'The Path of Totality'. Fresh off the hugely successful first leg of dates in support of their recently released album 'The Path of Totality', Berkley California's KORN will be taking over ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" tonight (February 2)!
Korn are set to return to the road for the second leg of "the Path of Totality Tour". The NEW batch of dates kick off on February 23 in Detroit, running through the Midwest before heading back West and wrapping up on March 4 in San Francisco. Kill the Noise will provide support on certain dates, while Korn's own Jonathan Davis will also debut his brand new DJ set as his J Devil alter ego.

'The Path of Totality' is another experimental chapter in Korn's rich canon and history. The album found the band shifting gears, taking a bit of a creative left turn (something they've been known to do throughout the course of their two decade career) and exploring thrilling new territory with some of the hottest emerging producers and talent in the burgeoning electronic scene. Puscifer, the eclectic music-meets-comedy troupe helmed by Maynard James Keenan (Tool, A Perfect Circle), will perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live on February 16th.
Puscifer released their sophomore album, 'Conditions of My Parole', in October and quickly followed with a North American tour that The Boston Globe referred to as "musical theater" and the Philadelphia Weekly described as an "engaging performance with hilarious pre-recorded between-song skits featuring MJK alter-egos Major Douche and white-trash hero Billy D."
The second leg of the band's North American tour kicks off on February 23rd at The Long Center for the Performing Arts in Austin, Texas. This past Thursday, November 3rd, Chickenfoot performed their songs "Three And A Half Letters" and "Big Foot" on ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!". You can watch the bands performance below.
Arguably considered one of the best new bands in Heavy Music, Chickenfoot has been making plenty of noise since the release of "CHICKENFOOT III" (out now via eOne Music/Edel/EarMusic). This supergroup features guitarist Joe Satriani, drummer Kenny Aronoff, former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony and frontman Sammy Hagar. No, don't wipe your eyes, they are not deceiving you.
Recently, the band premiered their music video for "Three and a Half Letters (I Need A Job)".
The song is motivated by the dismal job economy and features letters that were sent to Hagar as pleas for help. Chickenfoot is partnering with Feeding America to encourage fans to help alleviate some of the effects of the job economy. This is what he had to say about this.
"I received a lot of letters from people over the years who were looking for help or work and recently I received one from an Afghan War Veteran that ended with 'Can you help? I need a job’... that just really hit me and the song came together. We really want to encourage anyone to help where they can and I think one of the easiest ways is by making contributions to their local food banks so I hope we get that message across in this video and while we are on tour."
"I Need a Job," directed by Arthur Rosato (Springsteen, Bonnaroo), features the real life letters received by Hagar and closes with a call to action in partnership with Feeding America. Beginning today, the band is inviting fans to post their own letters and stories to their website in hopes it will help them find employment and continue to shed light on the critical condition in America. The band is also planning on additional outreach to bring more awareness to the issue in each city on their upcoming “Road Test Tour.” While those who are better off may not be able to offer actual jobs, Chickenfoot believes that contributions to food banks in their hometowns is one simple way, among many others, that fans can help firsthand on a local level.
The band is currently on tour on what has been dubbed the “2011 Road Test Tour”. The tour is trekking through five US and five European cities in support of their most recent release "Chickenfoot III", which debuted on the Billboard album chart at #9.
"Chickenfoot III" features 10 tracks with so many moments of epiphany that one can barely take them all in on first listen. On November 1st, 2011, Thrash Metal titans Megadeth released their NEW album "TH1RT3EN" to the Headbanging community via Roadrunner Records. Today, they are premiering the music video for the first single of their 13th studio album entitled "Public Enemy No. 1".
The comical video was shot in California, a few days after Megadeth performed at the Big Four Concert at Yankee Stadium. Oh, and it features a very badass monkey! Watch it now!

In celebration of the release of their 13th studio album, which is in stores now! Megadeth this past Monday on the Halloween edition of "Jimmy Kimmel Live". Not only did the band perform their new single "Public Enemy No.1" and their classic song "Symphony Of Destruction", but the entire band were dressed up in very cool costumes. Dave Mustaine was dressed as Frankenstein, fits him well ah? Mustaine also gave Jimmy Kimmel one of his guitars! You can watch the bands performance below.

Arguably considered one of the best new bands in Heavy Music, Chickenfoot has been making plenty of noise since the release of "CHICKENFOOT III" (out now via eOne Music/Edel/EarMusic). This supergroup features guitarist Joe Satriani, drummer Kenny Aronoff, former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony and frontman Sammy Hagar. No, don't wipe your eyes, they are not deceiving you.
Today, the band is premiering their music video for "Three and a Half Letters (I Need A Job)". It has also been announced, that the band will perform the song on Jimmy Kimmel Live on the evening of November 3rd.
The song is motivated by the dismal job economy and features letters that were sent to Hagar as pleas for help. Chickenfoot is partnering with Feeding America to encourage fans to help alleviate some of the effects of the job economy. This is what he had to say about this.
"I received a lot of letters from people over the years who were looking for help or work and recently I received one from an Afghan War Veteran that ended with 'Can you help? I need a job’... that just really hit me and the song came together. We really want to encourage anyone to help where they can and I think one of the easiest ways is by making contributions to their local food banks so I hope we get that message across in this video and while we are on tour."
"I Need a Job," directed by Arthur Rosato (Springsteen, Bonnaroo), features the real life letters received by Hagar and closes with a call to action in partnership with Feeding America. Beginning today, the band is inviting fans to post their own letters and stories to their website in hopes it will help them find employment and continue to shed light on the critical condition in America. The band is also planning on additional outreach to bring more awareness to the issue in each city on their upcoming “Road Test Tour.” While those who are better off may not be able to offer actual jobs, Chickenfoot believes that contributions to food banks in their hometowns is one simple way, among many others, that fans can help firsthand on a local level.
The band is set to embark on the recently announced “2011 Road Test Tour,” beginning November 1st at the Warfield Theatre, San Francisco. The tour will take the band (Satriani, Anthony, Hagar and touring drummer Kenny Aronoff) through five US and five European cities in support of their most recent release "Chickenfoot III", which debuted on the Billboard album chart at #9.
"Chickenfoot III" features 10 tracks with so many moments of epiphany that one can barely take them all in on first listen. Colossal, stadium-shaking riffs abound on earth-movers such as “Alright, Alright,” “Last Temptation” and “Lighten Up.” Tradition meets innovation on the Nashville pop-tinged “Different Devil,” the Delta-blues flavored “Something Going Wrong” and the aching Rock ballad “Come Closer.”
Chickenfoot III follows the band’s 2009 debut album, which debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 100 and was certified gold for sales of over 500,000 units by the Recording Industry Association of America.
Five Finger Death Punch will be performing on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' this fall! The band is scheduled to perform two songs at a special outdoor performance on October 12th that is scheduled to air on the October 26th, 2011 episode of the show. The band will be performing new music from their upcoming full-length album, "American Capitalist", being released on October 11th, 2011, via Prospect Park.
Fans are encouraged to attend the outdoor taping which will take place at the "El Capitan Theater", located one block south of Hollywood Boulevard between Highland and Orange streets.
5FDP recently unveiled a brand-new video for their new single 'Under and Over It'. The satirical video was directed by Ethan Maniquis (co-director of Machete) and shot at Gavin Maloof's spectacular mansion in Las Vegas.
The guys from Five Finger Death Punch are currently gearing up for a massive US tour with Hatebreed and All That Remains, dubbed as "Share the Welt Tour". Hatebreed will be main support for 5FDP and ATR.

The most evil band in history, Slayer, will be spreading a little hate on national television tonight! Slayer will be the musical guest on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live". The show airs at 12:05 AM Eastern & Pacific Time and 11:05 PM Central Time.
The mighty Slayer will be performing "World Painted Blood", which is the titled track of their latest album. Additionaly, the band will perform "Hate Worldwide" over the show's closing credits.
This special performance will mark the return of singer Tom Araya, who had to go under knife, due to some major back problems caused by years of headbanging. This will be the second time that Slayer performs live on "Jimmy Kimmel Live".
