ASKING ALEXANDRIA have announced that they will be releasing their third studio album this Summer via Sumerian Records. The bands NEW record is called 'From Death To Destiny' and was produced by Joey Sturgis (THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, EMMURE) and it was recorded at the Foundation Recording Studios in Indiana and NRG in Hollywood.
Today (April 1), we are premiering a NEW song by AA called "The Death Of Me". The band are stoked to be able to premiere, especially after Friday's insanity. What happened? Well, a drunk driver crashed into their bus while the band was in Las Vegas. Here is what Danny Worsnop had to say about the incident:
"We are all okay besides a couple of back aches. The trailer is fucked, the bus has heavy damage and the other car he hit is destroyed".
THE Motörheadphones have arrived! The loudest band in the world, unveiled their NEW "cans" this past Tuesday (January 8) at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NV. The bands god, Lemmy Kilmister, was present at a press conference (watch it below). Here is the official description of the Motörheadphones written by the band: "We all love the deep, low, warm feeling of that body-shuddering sound called 'bass'. It rumbles through your chest like a juggernaut, feeling like it's coming from within instead of a speaker off in the distance. Unfortunately most headphone makers (in a desperate hunt to achieve that warm low end) end up sacrificing the presence and dynamics in the mid and high end areas of the sound spectrum. The result is no warm low end body-shuddering bass experience. "And you lose the guitar sound, because in this misguided attempt to achieve the warm low end, the low/mid range is also lost. A double negative really. One which we weren't prepared to engage in. "When we at Motörheadphönes developed our headphones, we immediately went to the very top of the professional headphone range as a bench mark. Why wouldn't we? We want to make the best, so we refer to the best of the best. "Another thing we realized, was that most of the music we listen to today, is guitar-based rock and pop. There was nothing which allowed for the heavy rock experience, nothing which could accommodate the crushing power of loud rock'n'roll. "Obviously somebody needed to do something, and that somebody was the iconic Motörhead, the genuine road warriors for the last three decades. This is why we can now, after hard work and collaboration, proudly present Motörheadphönes, by rockers for rockers." As previously reported, MOTÖRHEAD have announced that they will be
entering the studio this January with longtime producer Cameron Webb to
begin recording their next studio album for a mid-2013 release. "We'll
go into the rehearsal room about a month before the album and just bang
stuff out," MOTÖRHEAD mainman Lemmy Kilmister tells Billboard.com.
Last night (Wednesday, October 24), Axl Rose from GUNS N' ROSES took part in his first sit-down, live television broadcast interview in more than 20 on ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!". Keep in mind that his first broadcast interview in years aired on November 11, 2011 via VH1 Classic's "That Metal Show". That interview took place at 5:30 AM following GNR's performance on October 29, 2011 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.
This appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" is another in
a series of firsts for the celebrated GUNS N' ROSES frontman, who will
spend this fall at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for a
12-night run of shows. The historic "Appetite For Democracy" residency
will run October 31 through November 24.
You can now watch Rose's appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" here:
"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" airs weeknights at 12 AM PT/11 PM CT on ABC.
KISS's Gene Simmons recently visited the Rock N’ Roll Fantasy Camp at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. During a jam that featured Simmons along with a group of young aspiring musicians, including thirteen year old Clayton Mann, who performs in a band called Rebelmann with his brothers, Simmons got outperformed by Mann. This kid can not only play some great guitar leads, but he can sing his heart out. To say that Simmons was blown away is an understatement, and if anything Simmons was bummed by having a young musician outperform him in front of a small crowd of kids.
Here is video footage of the Simmons and Mann jam:
In other KISS news, the bands NEW album 'Monster' is
available now. Showing the band at the top of its game, 'Monster'
embodies all that is KISS and the music that first inspired them to
pick up their guitars and flame-throwers and don makeup to entertain
millions.

MÖTLEY CRÜE recently released a brand NEW song called "Sex" to coincide with the launch of the band's North American co-headlining tour with KISS. But CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx tells Billboard.com that there are currently no plans for the group to record a full album's worth of material.
"It takes time to put together music," Sixx said. "Right now we're just writing music. There's tons of material always there — there's riffs for days, ideas, choruses here, verses there. For us, it's how many songs have we written (and) how many do we love and what do we want to do with them? It's about finding the time to go home, be off the road, get everybody in a room and start riffing and see where it does."
Written when the band was together during their residency in Las Vegas last February, "Sex" was the first studio track from the CRÜE since their June 2008 release of "Saints Of Los Angeles".
"We happened to have this song everyone was really excited about, so instead of saying, 'Let's add it to the pile of songs we have and we'll sort 'em out later,' we were, 'Hey, let's finish this one up,'" Sixx told Billboard.com. "We got it out there for the fans, for the tour, and it's exciting for the band to play something new. We love the classics and the hits, and I know the fans love that, too, but to be able to play something new is great.
"We wanted to save that big push for when we do (an album)," he added, "but the way the song is connecting with people feels like the way the music used to connect with people when we were a baby band and just had our first record out. The song really seems to work."

According to TMZ.com, singer Vince Neil (Mötley Crüe) was videotaped flipping out at a group of parking attendants at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. The incident took place last week after a valet refused to return the singer his Rolls-Royce since Neil couldn't produce a claim ticket.
In the video clip below, Neil can be heard yelling: "Give me my fucking car! Give me my fucking car! Give me my car!" and then banging on the window.
Vince continued, "Call the police! This is my car. What the fuck is wrong with you?"
After the parking attendants apparently told Vince that they wouldn't hand over the vehicle because he couldn't produce a parking ticket, Vince responded, "They didn't give me a fucking ticket!"
According to TMZ.com sources, police were called to the scene, but by the time they arrived, Vince had already taken off, and the valet company decided against filing a report.

This is totally shitty news! Authorities in Last Vegas say at least one person was arrested after a stabbing occurred at a Tenacious D concert over the weekend.
Police spokesman Jose Hernandez told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that at least one person was taken to the hospital Saturday night after a fight at the House of Blues inside the Mandalay Bay resort. He said the concertgoers got into a scuffle prior to the show.
"There was some sort of altercation that led up to the stabbing," he said.
The injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The newspaper reports the 90-minute show ended about half an hour early, and concertgoers were told not to leave the venue until it was secured.
On May 15th, Tenacious D — the storied musical duo featuring Kyle Gass and Jack Black — released their NEW album, 'Rize of the Fenix', you can now stream the album in its entirety below.
A 30-second commercial for MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil's NEW strip club, "Girls, Girls, Girls", can be seen below. In a recent interview with Sally Steele of Vegas Rocks! magazine, Neil stated about why he decided to open his own strip club, "I've been going to strip clubs my whole adult life, I think. With the song 'Girls Girls Girls', we got inducted in 2007 into the Stripper Fall Of Fame. So it was just something that has been coming for a long time."
He added, "I love NEW businesses. It's just another cool thing, and I think it's great for Las Vegas. It's something different in a city that has everything... I literally live, like, five minutes from [the club]. So I'm gonna be here a lot when I'm in town and come here and hang out. It's a great place to hang."
Neil has set Friday, April 13, as the official grand opening of "Girls, Girls, Girls". The club will occupy the former Déjà Vu location opposite the Orleans off Tropicana Avenue a mile from the Las Vegas Strip.
