Brian "Head" Welch Discusses KORN's Future + LOVE AND DEATH!

On February 19, KORN posted a NEW group shot that includes Brian "Head" Welch as a member of the band (peep it HERE). The whole reuniting of the band begun last summer, when former guitarist Brian "Head" Welch joined the band at the Carolina Rebellion festival at the legendary Rockingham Speedway in Rockingham, North Carolina to perform the bands classic hit song "Blind".

Welch left KORN in 2005 to become a born-again Christian after years of hard drug and alcohol abuse while in the band. Although Welch has a NEW band called LOVE AND DEATH, "Head" is happy with his current relationship with the members of KORN. Loudwire recently chatted with "Head" about LOVE AND DEATH, and about his future in KORN. Check it out:

"Head" is scheduled to join the band at a number of shows this spring/summer; including the “Rock On The Range” festival in Columbus, Ohio in May (more info HERE). "Head" will also be part of next year's edition of the Rock am Ring and Rock im Park festivals, set to take place June 7-9, 2013 in the German towns of Nürburgring and Nürnberg, respectively.

KORN Has Made It Pretty Clear That Brian "Head" Welch Is Returning To The Band Full Time!

CAPTION FROM KORN: "2013 will be a great year for Korn."

Last summer, groundbreaking musical act KORN, were rejoined by former guitarist Brian "Head" Welch at the Carolina Rebellion festival at the legendary Rockingham Speedway in Rockingham, North Carolina to perform the bands classic hit song "Blind". Welch left KORN in 2005 to become a born-again Christian after years of hard drug and alcohol abuse while in the band. Although Welch has a NEW band called LOVE AND DEATH, both he and KORN bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu said that a reunion could be possible one day under the right conditions.

Until yesterday (February 19), the big question was whither or not "Head" will return to the band full time. According to the bands NEW group shot (see above), "Head" is back in the band! It is well known within the music industry that bands only update their group shots when they have a NEW lineup or when they are entering a NEW album cycle.

During a recent interview with Rollingstone.com, "Head" was asked about the possibility of the U.S. getting a full Korn tour with himself in tow. To that he replied: “We’re going slow. We’re hanging out when I’ve got time, but I’ve got my album out, and they’re busy doing their stuff. But I’d say anything is possible right now.”

MACHINE Fuc*ing HEAD Bring The Ruckus At Germany's Rock AM Ring - Performance Video Available!

MACHINE HEAD are currently tripping on a musical high!  Following the release of their seventh studio album 'Unto The Locust' (available now via Roadrunner Records), the Bay Area metallers have been very busy touring the world in support of one the best albums of 2011.

As oppose to other bands that wont perform a significant set time after having numerous albums under their belt, MACHINE HEAD have been pulling out their musical arsenal and have been including songs from every single one of their releases.

Yesterday (June 2), the band performed at Germany's Rock Am Ring festival in Nürburgring, Germany can be seen below. Here are some professionally filmed video clips of their epic performance:

MACHINE HEAD recently announced plans to film a video for the song 'Darkness Within' in the Czech Republic. The track comes off the band's latest album, "Unto The Locust", which sold more than 17,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 22 on The Billboard 200 chart — putting MACHINE HEAD in the Top 25 for the first time in the band's 17-year history.

We recently had the chance to chat with MACHINE HEAD's Robb Flynn and Dave McClain at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards! During our conversation with Robb Flynn and Dave McClain, we asked them if in their opinion 'Unto The Locust' has exceeded the bands expectations. Here is what they have to say about this.
