NYDM Badasses IMMOLATION Comment On Their Appearance At This Year's "Decibel Magazine Tour"

As previously reported, this year Decibel Magazine is doubling down on veteran star power for their second annual national tour. This spring, the plague spreads as Decibel brings you three living legends of Death Metal and Grindcore: the preeminent gore institution Cannibal Corpse; rabble-rousing U.K. grind icons Napalm Death, and NYDM stalwarts Immolation.
Here is what Immolation's bassist/vocalist Ross Dolan had to say about this:

CANNIBAL CORPSE Have Been Delivering "Punishing Brutality" For 25 Years; Special Releases & North American Tour Announced!

Last year CANNIBAL CORPSE released their 12th studio album 'Torture' via Metal Blade Records, and supported their NEWEST musical assault with plenty of touring. But this is nothing out of the ordinary for the most successful Death Metal band in history. They have been hard at work since their formation in 1988, and just like fine booze: the more years that pass by, the better the band gets.

2013 marks Death Metal juggernauts, CANNIBAL CORPSE'S 25th year as a band and CANNIBAL is going to celebrate it all year long! The logo has been updated to reflect the monumental occasion and will be used on all things CANNIBAL (see it below), from merch to packaging, throughout 2013. There is also a box set in the works for the most extreme CANNIBAL CORPSE fan, which is expected to drop in March via Metal Blade Records - details coming soon!

In addition to the updated logo only being used this year and the box set, Metal Blade Records will be releasing one picture disc a month from the band's expansive catalog ('Eaten Back to Life', 'Butchered at Birth', 'Tomb of the Mutilated', 'The Bleeding', 'Vile', 'Gallery of Suicide', 'Bloodthirst', 'Gore Obsessed', 'The Wretched Spawn', 'KILL', 'Evisceration Plague', 'Torture'). A total of 12 pictures discs will be released, covering all of the band's full-length studio albums, some of which have never been released on picture disc. The first picture disc available for preorder is 'Eaten Back to Life', which was released August 17, 1990, and can be found HERE. This year CANNIBAL CORPSE released their 12th studio album 'Torture' via Metal Blade Records, and supported their NEWEST musical assault with plenty of touring. But this is nothing out of the ordinary for the most successful Death Metal band in history. CANNIBAL CORPSE Announces U.S. Tour With MISERY INDEX & HOUR OF PENANCE!

CANNIBAL CORPSE has announced that they will be embarking on their first US tour after having dominated stages as headliners of the Summer Slaughter Tour 2012. This headlining tour is scheduled to begin on November 16th and wrap up on December 7th. Dates and venues are listed below and can be found on the band's Facebook page HERE. BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME's Tommy Rogers Talks About "Summer Slaughter", NEW Album & Fatherhood!

Recently, the tri-state area Headbangers joined forces at New York City's legendary venue Irving Plaza (formerly The Fillmore) for the 2012 Summer Slaughter Tour. This years event is co-headlined by the mighty CANNIBAL CORPSE and Progressive Metallers BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME. Two bands that have a very different sound, but that have managed to open the minds of each others fans by penetrating ear drums like very few bands out there. The 2012 SUMMER SLAUGHTER tour truly represents what the state of Heavy Music is today: many different types of fans coming together to jam out to their favorite bands while learning about new bands and tendencies.

CANNIBAL CORPSE Celebrate The Release Of 'Torture' With NEW Video For "Encased In Concrete"!

In celebration of the their brand NEW full-length, 'Torture', released TODAY in North America through Metal Blade Records, Death Metal's most revered act, CANNIBAL CORPSE, are pleased to unveil the official NEW video for "Encased In Concrete." The video was directed by David Brodsky of MyGoodEye (Black Dahlia Murder, Goatwhore, Municipal Waste, Suffocation etc.) and is being hosted by prime horror portal, Bloody Disgusting.

Comments bassist Alex Webster: "It was great to work with the folks at MyGoodEye. We feel they've created a video that perfectly complements the violent intensity of the music and lyrics for 'Encased In Concrete.'

CANNIBAL CORPSE Unleashes More In-Studio Video Footage - Includes Corpsegrinder's Vocal Exercises!

More video footage from CANNIBAL CORPSE's 'Torture' studio sessions is currently viewable at their official landing page. The near-ten minute long segment documents some of the guitar solo and vocal tracking and includes a candid glimpse of vocalist Corpsegrinder’s method for loosening his vocal cords during the lengthy recording sessions.

The band's twelfth offering of audio molestation will be available to North American fans on March 13, 2012 via Metal Blade Records. EXHUMED Forced To Pull The Plug On Brazilian Tour!

Due to unforeseen visa issues, California ministers of gore EXHUMED have been forced to cancel their previously scheduled dates in Brazil this week with Aborted.

Comments vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey: “We are totally weakened to have to cancel our Brazilian dates. Due to our visa applications getting rejected, we cannot legally enter the country at this time -- in fact, they threatened to ban us from being there for a decade. We are doing everything we can to reschedule these dates as soon as possible. Due to the bullshit policies of U.S. immigration/customs and Brazilian customs' policy of reciprocity, our visas were refused by the Brazilian consulate before even being processed. We seriously and very sincerely apologize to all our friends in Brazil who wanted to see the band. We will do everything in our power to work with our agent, the promoter, and the immigration assholes in the U.S. and Brazil to get this squared away. This is a serious bummer. We will spend the extra week before heading to Europe looking at hot Brazilian chicks on the Internet instead of in real life and being really, really pissed off.”

EXHUMED will kick off the 16-date "Grind Over Europe Tour" with Rotten Sound and Magrudergrind on February 24, then join Anaal Nathrakh for a short run of U.K. dates. From there, the band will take their audio menace stateside for a handful of headlining shows before jumping on a near month-long bout of U.S. dates with death Metal icons Cannibal Corpse! Joined by labelmates Abysmal Dawn and Arkaik, the live rituals will commence on April 5 in Jacksonville, Florida and include an appearance at the The Cincinnati Metal Fest on April 14 as well as a special show on April 28 where the brutal caravan will merge with the Decibel Magazine tour featuring Behemoth, Watain, The Devil’s Blood and In Solitude.

Today, Revolvermag.com hosts the exclusive premiere of “Scourge of Iron,” the third track off CANNIBAL CORPSE’s forthcoming slab of brutality, 'Torture', slated for North American release through Metal Blade Records on March 13, 2012.

Comments bassist Alex Webster of the new tune: “‘Scourge of Iron’ helps to show the song writing diversity on Torture. [First album single] ‘Demented Aggression’ is blazing fast and frantic, while ‘Scourge…’ is a down tempo, pounding song. They're both Death Metal, but at opposite ends of the speed spectrum. Expect to hear this kind of variety throughout Torture. We’ve utilized many different tempos, rhythms, and feels in these songs with the goal of making an album that is varied and dynamic but also very brutal. On March 13th you'll get to decide whether or not we succeeded.”

CANNIBAL CORPSE Confirmed As Headliner For the 2012 Summer Slaughter Tour!

The Kings of Death Metal, CANNIBAL CORPSE, will brutalize North America this Summer with a headlining spot on the upcoming Summer Slaughter Tour 2012!

While the festival's full schedule and routing are still to be announced, the band is honored to be confirmed for the main slot of the illustrious trek.
