BIOHAZARD Reveal Contest Winner For "Vengeance Is Mine" Video & Announce Summer Tour Dates!

Hardcore veterans Biohazard have chosen Travis Campbell’s video for “Vengeance Is Mine” as the grand prize winner of their music video contest. Using their Facebook page, the band challenged fans to create their own music video for a track off of their MEW album 'REBORN IN DEFIANCE'.  Submissions were uploaded to Youtube, and the band unanimously agreed on Travis’ entry as the first official video for 'REBORN IN DEFIANCE'.

Vocalist / guitarist Billy Graziadei says, “Without the help of extra footage, Travis took some classic imagery from our previous videos and made it all work for Vengeance is Mine... pure awesomeness!  Be on the lookout for some great things to come from him!"

The winning video consists of clips from the band’s music videos from previous years cleverly synched so they appear to be performing the NEW song, “Vengeance Is Mine”, interspersed with footage of social strife throughout history. Watch it now!

Travis explains, “I have been a Biohazard fan since the early 90s and have always been influenced by their videos and social commentary and wanted to show my respect and appreciation for a band that has helped me get through some rough times throughout the years.  I started watching all the old Bio vids and got the idea of taking all the material and cutting it in a NEW way and adding in civil unrest footage from Occupy Wall Street, the Civil Rights Era, and other events like Bloody Sunday.  The hardest part was getting the synch right, having Billy from 1994 singing to a phrase in 2012 proved quite challenging!  In the end I am proud of the video and I am elated that Biohazard likes it as well.”

Travis will be rewarded with the “DFL Grand Prize”, which guarantees him free Biohazard tickets and AAA passes for himself and a friend to all Biohazard shows, for life.  First runner up Randy Memoli (“Reborn”) and second runner up Kareem Girgis (Come Alive) will each receive a ticket to all Biohazard shows for life.

Billy adds, “We got a lot of great submissions that all rocked! Thank you to everyone who spent their time and talent on making their own great videos, DFL forever!”

Biohazard recently added a string of July dates to their summer touring of select European festivals and will continue to tour internationally throughout the year in support of REBORN IN DEFIANCE.  The summer dates are listed below.

ROB ZOMBIE To Record NEW Album; Additional Tour Dates With MEGADETH Announced!

The wait is over, Zombie lovers! Rob Zombie has announced that he and his band of maniacs - John 5, Piggy D and Ginger Fish - will enter the studio on June 1 to begin recording the next chapter in the Zombie musical legacy. This NEW, as yet untitled CD is set for a late 2012 release.

"It has been way, and I mean way too long without any new music. I am dying to get back to it", said Zombie. "I have not felt this much excitement within the band since recording the first 'Hellbilly Deluxe' record almost 15 years ago. We have been working on tons of songs for quite some time and I can safely say this will definitely be our best record yet."

Before Lord Zombie and his band begin recording, they will hit the highway on a co-headline tour with Metal legends Megadeth, marking the first time the two bands have toured together since the early 90s.

"This tour should be a blast", said Zombie. "I haven't shared a bill with Megadeth since way back in the early days of White Zombie, so this trek is long overdue."

Two NEW dates have been added to the U.S. trek - May 13 at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD, and May 19 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in St. Louis, MO. The tour, which kicks off Friday, May 11 in Holmdel, NJ, will encompass high-profile appearances at several Rock festivals, including Rock On The Range (May 20) that Zombie will co-headline with Incubus, and Rocklahoma (May 26) that Zombie will headline. Zombie will bring his full, explosive stage show out in full force on these dates, and audiences will get what they expect - a true rock and roll spectacle at its finest. Zombie will close all shows on the Megadeth dates.

For these Zombie/Megadeth dates, Rob Zombie has teamed up with The One and Only to make available special VIP Golden Tickets. Two packages have been created to help insure that fans have an unforgettable experience at the show.

Package One includes a GA ticket, priority early entry to help guarantee a great spot for the show, a customized Zombie Bag, limited edition poster, an exclusive-to-the-tour T-shirt, a commemorative VIP laminate, and Golden Ticket Rep Concierge Service. Package Two includes everything in Package One, PLUS a meet'n'greet with Rob Zombie, a high-quality photograph with Rob, and a Rob Zombie autograph. For more information on the Rob Zombie One and Only VIP Golden Tickets - OR - if you've already purchased a ticket for the show and would like to upgrade to one of these VIP packages - log onto RobZombie.com.

Zombie's latest film, "The Lords of Salem," is currently in the final stages of post-production and promises to be Zombie's most insane film yet. "I am enjoying taking my time finishing this film. I hate rushing things at this stage of the process, so it is a luxury to take it slow and really fine-tune every part of the production", stated Zombie. No release date is set yet for the film.

Confirmed dates for the Rob Zombie/Megadeth U.S. tour are as follows:

DYING FETUS' Trey Williams Discusses NEW Album 'Reign Supreme' At METALLIANCE Tour, PLUS Future Touring Plans!

As previously reported, DYING FETUS have confirmed a June 17th release date for their NEW album entitled 'Reign Supreme'. The album will feature nine tracks and is a "return to roots" with production focused slightly more on slam than in the band's last few works. Thematically, the album is set to be a good old-fashioned piece of social and political commentary in the style of DYING FETUS as we have come to know. The album artwork for 'Reign Supreme' has been revealed and can be viewed on the latest official album teaser for 'Reign Supreme' (available within the video interview clip). VISION OF DISORDER Releases Another In-Studio Teaser Video - Watch It!

As previously reported, Long Island Hardcore Metallers Vision Of Disorder inked a deal with Candlelight Records! The band has now entered the studio with producer Will Putney (SHADOWS FALL, SUICIDE SILENCE, FOUR YEAR STRONG) to record their highly anticipated NEW album for a late 2012 release. Cameron Webb (MOTÖRHEAD, SOCIAL DISTORTION, IGNITE, PENNYWISE) will mix the CD. You can watch a clip of the band working on drum sounds for their NEW album below.

Here is the bands official statement:

"Before the word 'Metalcore' existed… VISION OF DISORDER did. We did what we did because we loved it, not because we thought others might. 20 years later, we're once again at work with the same approach.

"After a newly inked deal with Candlelight Records, we are about to begin tracking on our first studio album in a decade. We are bringing all the elements of what made us unique and ferocious to the table.

"Playing reunion shows over the past few years and seeing such positive responses has truly been inspirational.

"This album is absolutely dedicated to our fans that have stuck by us through our ups and downs. Without them, it would not have been.

"We are excited to be a part of the Candlelight roster. They were a perfect choice for us. After numerous record label woes, it was refreshing to partner with people that are passionate about music — not just profit or agenda."

Added Darren Toms, Candlelight's European label manager: "I have been a fan of the band since the first release many years ago on Roadrunner/Supersoul and after hearing the NEW material, I'm very excited to be working with the band and getting them back to where they need to be in today's market."

This is an interview we conducted with vocalist Tim Williams in December of 2010, in which he discusses the NEW record:
