BEYOND DISHONOR Premiere Music Video For "Heisenberg"!
New Jersey Metal maniacs BEYOND DISHONOR have premiered a music video for their first single, entitled "Heisenberg", via their official YouTube channel. You should definitely watch this video below. Any fan of the hit television drama ‘Breaking Bad’ will immediately recognize that "Heisenberg" is a tribute to the popular show— complete with yellow meth lab suits, greasy cigar-smoking drug kingpins, shady factory laboratories galore and more.
"Heisenberg" is part of the band’s upcoming EP entitled 'Generations', set to be released in June 2013.
“It's an obvious homage to one of our favorite pieces of entertainment, but it is wrapped around a stronger metaphor - just as Walt perfects the formula against his better judgement, so too are we forced to find and perfect the formula for notice and respect in this tumultuous industry and genre,” states lead vocalist Reese Dunlap. “That theme is referenced throughout the song, and goes one step further in the video, where we are, in a sense, a victim of this formulaic control. It is only when we have 'perfected the formula' that we can finally escape mediocrity.”
Here is the music video for "Heisenberg":
Coming up, BEYOND DISHONOR will head out on a 13-date east coast trek beginning April 12th. WHITECHAPEL's Phil Bozeman Premieres Video With Useful Vocal Tips!
Phil Bozeman from WHITECHAPEL is one of the most extreme Heavy Metal vocalists today. As a matter of fact, Bozeman's growl is already one of the most recognized ones in all of Heavy Music. Proof of Bozeman's vocal power is his bands latest self-titled album, which is available now via Metal Blade Records.
Screaming his face off night after night is no easy task. In order to help other screamers, Bozeman has posted a very useful video for all screamers out there. Here is what he had to say about this video:
"A quick vocal tip video for beginners and for people that are seeking guidance for top vocal performance. Thanks guys!"

The Heavy Music world was struck by the very sad news that Mitchell Adam Lucker passed away at the young age of 28 (More information HERE). According to the Los Angeles Times, Lucker struck a light pole near the intersection of Main and 13th streets and was thrown from his 2013 Harley Davidson. The motorcycle continued sliding south on Main Street and struck a northbound 2007 Nissan Titan pickup.
Speaking to the audience, SUICIDE SILENCE guitarist Mark Heylmun said (see video HERE), "We fucking lost our brother; I'm sure you all know that. We all miss him more than anything in the fucking world."
The remaining members of the band have set up a memorial fund for Mitch Lucker’s family following the singer’s tragic death last week. Here is their statement regarding this matter:
Fans who wish to donate can do so via the link below, with donations of $20 of more receiving a commemorative t-shirt as a token of thanks. All proceeds will go towards the educational fund of Mitch’s five-year-old daughter, Kenadee.

WHITECHAPEL Premieres Music Video For "Possibilities of an Impossible Existence"!
Knoxville, TN sextet WHITECHAPEL has launched their NEW music video for "Possibilities of an Impossible Existence" off their current, self-titled release, exclusively on Alternative Press's site today. Head over to AltPress.com to check out the NEW video, which was filmed by the Rockstar Media department with director Strati Hovartos while the band was out touring on 2012's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Fest.
Guitarist Alex Wade comments; "Collectively as a band we all really love this video. The guys with the Rockstar Media department really did an outstanding job on it. It was shot on Rockstar Mayhem Fest this year with a combination of GoPro and DSLR cameras. I feel it gives a more intimate vibe than just a regular performance video. The video is also in black and white, which reminds me of old Pantera videos, which rules."
In other news WHITECHAPEL, who recently finished up a full US tour playing direct support to Hatebreed, will be re-releasing their full-length debut 'The Somatic Defilement' via Metal Blade Records in the spring of 2013. Whitechapel is one of the most well received albums of the summer, with critical acclaim and high praise from some of the most respected music outlet including The New York Times, Alternative Press and Metal Hammer.
"They build unforgiving walls of riff, and unpleasant ones too. Pleasure's not the point, though. There is a militaristic certainty to Whitechapel's work, which activates the true thrills of masochism." New York Times
"The band's best album yet by a wide margin." 4/5, Alternative Press Magazine
"Bolder and smarter than previous efforts and with flashes of subtle invention peppering their trademark onslaught of fat, hellish grooves and adrenalized blasting, Whitechapel positions its creators as worthy heirs to Chaos AD-era Sepultura's cross pollinating throne, albeit with a massive, jarring does of 21st century death metal adding additional sonic bulk and braggadocio." Metal Hammer – 8/10

HATEBREED Are D O N E Recording Their NEW Album; Band Ready To Kickoff "10 Years of Perseverance" Tour, Followed By LAMB OF GOD Tour!
HATEBREED kicks off their “10 Years of Perseverance” tour tonight in Clifton Park, NY with direct support from Whitechapel and special guests All Shall Perish and Deez Nuts! The U.S. headline tour was launched to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the band’s ground-breaking 2002 major-label debut, 'Perseverance'. See below for all current tour dates.Tickets are still available! HATEBREED is also offering an exclusive VIP Diehard Package that includes a Meet and Greet, Commemorative Diehard Laminate, Poster and more! Make sure to head over to www.hatebreed.com/VIP for all ticketing and VIP Diehard details.
HATEBREED just finished tracking their upcoming full-length album and are ready to begin the mixing process. The album is produced by the band with co-producer assistance from world-renowned Metal producers Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Gojira, Avenged Sevenfold) and Chris “Zeuss” Harris (Suicide Silence, All That Remains, Shadows Fall).
Guitarist Wayne Lozinak states, “I'm very excited that the album is tracked! It was a great experience working with Zeuss and Josh Wilbur on this one. Every song is heavy, straight and to the point, in keeping with the traditional HATEBREED sound. Can't wait to put some of these songs in the set and start playing them live!”
HATEBREED bassist Chris Beattie went on to say, “This is the album that HATEBREED fans have been waiting for - catchy, ignorant and full of energy!”
