TESTAMENT Is Coming To New York City, Los Angeles & 23 Other Cities In North America!

Very soon, TESTAMENT will be taking over North America with OVERKILL, FLOTSAM & JETSAM (on select dates), and 4ARM, for their first headlining tour since the release of their phenomenal chart success 'Dark Roots of Earth' (available now via Nuclear Blast Records). Another chapter of Heavy Metal history will be written in 2013…

When the BEASTIVAL festival will open its hellish gates from May 30 to June 1 in Geiselwind, Germany, every fan should be aware this is going to be a historical event. BEASTIVAL managed to accomplish something unique: THE BIG TEUTONIC 4! KREATOR, SODOM, DESTRUCTION & TANKARD on one evening, on one stage – something that has never happened despite the plus 25 year-career of every single band involved!

When the Thrash Metal scene started to rise in the early 80s in Germany and the USA, nobody expected this underground scene would turn into one of the biggest movements in Heavy Metal. Sure, Metal acts such as Iron Maiden and Judas Priest were filling the biggest venues back then, but this was something NEW, something that would leave its mark on Heavy Metal to this very day: Thrash Metal! This style combined the energy and pace of Hardcore Punk with the techniques of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal and built a fresh fan base. The scene was growing and growing… record labels were founded, underground clubs popped up and fanzines were being published. Around this time, KREATOR, SODOM, DESTRUCTION & TANKARD emerged – who are nowadays being referred to as “The Big Teutonic 4”. Four German bands who are being hailed as the crown princes of Thrash Metal worldwide and who have influenced countless successors and later Metal genres with their albums and tours!

Without these bands, the Metal scene as we know it today would not exist!

Sandy Strikes At Sammy Hagar, His Atlantic City Bar Suffers Severe Damage - Images Available!

And news of the damage caused by that bitch Sandy continues to surface. One of the most affected areas was Atlantic City, New Jersey. It has been confirmed that Sammy Hagar‘s Beach Bar & Grill was severely damaged by the massive storm. Hagar says, "Hope all Redheads and Beach Bar & Grill staff are safe and dry! Here is a look at the damage — we will rebuild!"

Located at Bally's Atlantic City Hotel and casino since May 2010, the restaurant is only open from May through Labor Day weekend. Profits from the Beach Bar & Grill go to the Hagar Family Foundation, which supports local children’s charities.

Hagar owns nightlife venues in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Las Vegas and St. Louis, and with his branding on this oceanfront deck, Bally's remade the beachfront bar an outdoor destination with nightly entertainment and all-day deals on drinks.

Iconic German Thrash Metal trio, DESTRUCTION, are currently locked up at Gernhart Studios in Troisdorf, Germany working on their 30th anniversary album entitled 'Spiritual Genocide'. The band is working with engineer Martin Buchwalter and are shooting for a November release via Nuclear Blast Records. The record will be mixed by Andy Classen, feature guest appearances by Thomas "Angelripper" Such (SODOM), Andreas "Gerre" Geremia (TANKARD) and Ol Drake (EVILE). In addition, the 'Mad Butcher'/'Release From Agony' lineup of DESTRUCTION — featuring guitarist Harry Wilkens and drummer Oliver Kaiser — will reunite for one song.

Commented DESTRUCTION vocalist/bassist Marcel "Schmier" Schirmer: "For this anniversary album we did a really great job. Our new drummer, Vaaver [real name: Wawrzyniec Dramowicz; INDUKTI, ex-UNSUN], opens up new possibilities of course.

WARBRINGER Announces North American Tour With DESTRUCTION & Release Rehearsal Video!

WARBRINGER have just successfully completed a 7-week North America tour supporting Metal titans ICED EARTH and SYMPHONY X, but they are ready to be back on the road again soon! For their next North American tour, the band will join DESTRUCTION, VITAL REMAINS, and PATHOLOGY from May 8th to June 3rd, and after that, they'll appear at various high-profile Summer festival appearances in Europe. Vocalist John Kevill checked in to comment about these upcoming shows:

We had a great time with those guys, there was a slew of incredible shows with awesome Heavy Metal fans in abundance, and a bunch of good times with both of those fine bands!
