PRONG Announce European Tour Dates - Details Available!

PRONG have confirmed that they will be heading over to Europe this Summer. The band is scheduled to play a handful of festival dates as well as a string of headline dates. Currently, the tour is scheduled to kick off June 23rd in Clisson, France at Hellfest and will run through July 14th in Serbia at Exit Fest. More dates are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. A complete list of dates can be found below.

Contest Winner Announced For PRONG's New York City Show This Friday!

Ladies and gentleman, we have a winner for a pair of tickets to the return of PRONG to their stomping grounds of New York City! Mr. Sal "El Capitan" Suarez responded the following question correctly, and will be grooving with PRONG on the Hudson River!

When the bands front man Tommy Victor founded PRONG in the late 80's, he had a side job at a Rock venue in New York City. What was his job and were was he working at?

PRONG Issue Tour Update: Band Forced To Cancel Numerous Shows!

Due to circumstances beyond their control PRONG have been forced to pull out of some shows on their current tour including headline dates and shows with Static-X. The band will still be playing "KnotFest" and will resume touring starting with a headlining date in Portland, OR at The Hawthorne Theater. The band is very sorry about this and plan on hitting the East Coast in full force as soon as possible.

The band has rescheduled the two shows that were postponed this May. These dates are now scheduled for November 1st through 3rd. LIONIZE will be providing direct support and MonstrO will open these dates. Please note that the Flint, MI and Detroit, MI shows are already sold out, tickets for the Joliet, IL show are still available.

Recently CLUTCH released a limited edition picture disc single of the track "Pigtown Blues" via Weathermaker Music (the bands label). The single is also available digitally. The A-Side is "Pigtown Blues" and the B-Side is an acoustic version of the track "Motherless Child". The disc can be found at your favorite record store as well as online at the link below. This is the first NEW studio material from CLUTCH since 2009's 'Strange Cousins From the West', and the first simultaneous worldwide release for Weathermaker Music.

In its first week of release, 'Carved Into Stone' landed spots on three of Billboard's Charts. The album placed at #13 on the Heatseekers Chart, #44 on the Hard Rock Albums Chart and #56 on the Independent Albums Chart.

CLUTCH Will Premiere NEW Single on BBC/Radio 1's "The Rock Show With Daniel P. Carter"; NEW Studio Material Available Soon!

Maryland rockers CLUTCH are gearing up for the release of their NEW picture disc single "Pigtown Blues". The single will receive its worldwide digital release on June 5^th and its worldwide physical release on June 19^th. This is the first NEW studio material from CLUTCH since 2009's 'Strange Cousins From the West', and the first simultaneous worldwide release for Weathermaker Music.

This coming Monday June 4^th CLUTCH frontman Neil Fallon will be a special guest on "The Rock Show With Daniel P. Carter", which airs on BBC/Radio 1 from Midnight - 2:00 AM UK time. Carter who has been a long time fan and supporter of CLUTCH for years, will be exclusively premiering the track "Pigtown Blues". CLUTCH will embark on a headlining tour this summer with special guests Prong and Lionize. The run kicks off July 11^th in Fayetteville, AR and wraps up July 22^nd in Richmond, VA. The band has also confirmed select dates for August with Lionize. These shows are scheduled for August 9^th, 10^th, and 12^th. Tickets for these dates go on sale for fan club members Wednesday June 6^th and for the general public on Friday June 8^th and Saturday June 9^th.

Additionally, the band has also rescheduled the two shows that were postponed this May. These dates are now scheduled for November 1^st through 3^rd.  MonstrO will be providing support on these dates. Please note that the Flint, MI and Detroit, MI shows are already sold out, tickets for the Joliet, IL show are still available.

PRONG's Tommy Victor Speaks About Having Members Of CRADLE OF FILTH & CROWBAR Stepping In For Tony Campos!

PRONG is currently in the midst of a short UK and European tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their landmark 'Beg To Differ' album. Decibel Magazine has lauded that album for "Breaking sacred ground and directing where Heavy Music would inevitably head for the rest of the 90's." In addition, they are playing classics from their catalog as well as material from their recent 'Carved Into Stone' album. Joining mainman Tommy Victor and drummer Alexei Rodriguez are bass players Matt Brunson of Crowbar and former Cradle of Filth bassist Dave Pybus.

Tommy explained the presence of not one but two well know bassists. 

"Since Tony Campos (who has been touring with the band and played on Carved Into Stone) is touring with Soulfly, we've had to tour with other bass players. Everyone who has toured with us so far has been fantastic and brought their own personal style to Prong. Phil Zeller from Toxic Holocaust did the Crowbar tour. Jason Rapesi who has played with Stone Sour did a few shows with us before that. We were heading to Europe and the guy we had couldn't do it in the eleventh hour.  Rather than cancel, our friend Matt Brunson from Crowbar stepped in and learned the entire Beg To Differ album in a day and a half!  Then we found out that Dave Pybus who has played with Cradle of Filth, was going to be the tech on the tour. As it turned out, Dave is a massive PRONG fan! He learned some of the other songs and has been joining Alexei and I onstage every night. Now we have two great bass players each night! This tour has been a blast!"

CLUTCH + PRONG + LIONIZE In North America - Tour Dates Available!

Maryland rockers CLUTCH are currently in the midst of a North American tour which features headlining shows, co-headlining dates with HELLYEAH and a radio festival appearance. Today CLUTCH is excited to announce a headlining run for this summer with Prong and Lionize providing support. The tour is scheduled to kick off July 11th in Fayetteville, AR and currently scheduled to wrap up on July 22nd in Richmond, VA.

CLUTCH will also be returning to Europe this festival season. The band has been confirmed for the Sonisphere Festival in Madrid Spain on May 26th and the Peace and Love Festival in Borlänge, Sweden on June 29th. For those European fans that have been clamoring for the exclusive double LP vinyl reissues, you will be glad to know that they are being released in Europe. Blast Tyrant will be the first in the series of reissues and it will be released on May 25th.

CLUTCH will be releasing a 7" picture disc single of the new track "Pigtown Blues" on June 19th. (The digital single will be released June 5th) This is the first new studio material from CLUTCH since 2009's Strange Cousins From the West,and the first simultaneous worldwide release for Weathermaker Music. In other Weathermaker Music news, the label has lined up two special releases for this summer. The first release is a limited edition 7" single from the Legendary New York Hardcore band THE MOB. The band recently entered the studio to record new material for their new single Back to Queens, which will be released July 17th. THE MOB will be playing their first show together in over five years as part of this year's Black N' Blue Bowl which will be held May 19th at Webster Hall in New York City.
Additionally Weathermaker Music will release the new "Pros and Cons" EP from THE COMPANY BAND. The EP features five new tracks and will be released on July 31st. THE COMPANY BAND features Neil Fallon, James A. Rota (Fireball Ministry), Jess Margera (CKY), Brad Davis (Fu Manchu) and Dave Bone. Along with the CD Release, Weathermaker Music will release a 12" vinyl limited edition/collectors version of the EP. The EP and the vinyl will be released on July 31st. More details on THE MOB and THE COMPANY BAND releases will be announced shortly.

Lastly in CLUTCH related news, the band has just inked a licensing deal with Fox Sports for the 2012 NASCAR and MLB seasons for the track "The Regulator".
