THE CULT Announce The "Elecric 13" Tour!

THE CULT have announced that they will be performing their 1987 groundbreaking album 'Electric' in its entirety on a tour that they have appropriately dubbed as "Electric 13". To this day, THE CULT have never performed the album in its entirety. To add even more fire to this awesome tour, the band will also include a second set pulling from the band's eight other studio albums.

The "Electric 13" tour will kick off on July 25th at the House Of Blues in San Diego, CA and will finalize on Septembe4 8th at the House Of Blues in Los Angeles, CA.

"THE CULT's lifeblood has always been playing live. We are between albums and decided to continue the momentum created by 'Choice Of Weapon', stay in people's hearts and minds. GYPSYHAWK Announces Live Assaults With VALIENT THORRE & RAMMING SPEED

GYPSYHAWK have announced that they will support VALIENT THORR on tour this summer! Serving as the openers on the tour will be RAMMING SPEED. 

The tour will begin on June 12th in Charlotte, NC and hits cities throughout east coast and Midwest before wrapping up on July 6th in Raleigh, NC. Additional shows before and after the shows with VALIENT THORR are in the works and will be announced shortly.

Guitarist Andrew Packer comments on the tour: "Valient Thorr are one of the most kick ass bands rocking hard out there right now. I hear they're all awesome dudes and know what partying is supposed to be about so we're absolutely pumped to be supporting them. Ramming speed have been on my turntable quite a bit the last year so I'm really excited for them too. This tour is going to be a brachiosaurus stomping on boxes of TNT."

Vocalist/bassist Eric Harris simply proclaims: "this is gonna be fucking tight."

DEATH TO ALL Tour Singer/Guitarist Announced!

The "Death To All Tour" (presented by Perseverance Holdings Ltd.) is returning this year in benefit of Sweet Relief. Once again, the short tour will feature a handful of DEATH All-Starts, as well as various special guests. This tour is to celebrate the life and music of Chuck Schuldiner, as well as to raise awareness of Sweet Relief Musicians Fund — a charity that provides financial assistance to career musicians faced with illness, disability or age-related problems. 

Today, the singer for the DEATH TO ALL TOUR has been reveled. As you probably know, Matt Harvey is on tour with Exhumed, Charles Elliott has a heavy workload at that time, and Steffen Kummerer has commitments keeping him in Europe. This is why Max Phelps was an easy decision - because he is a huge DEATH fan and he is a killer guitar player & vocalist. Nuff said.

KATATONIA's Music Video For "Lethean" Has Arrived; Band Nominated For A Swedish Grammy!

Katatonia, Sweden's master of dark Rock, has completed work on its latest video for the track, "Lethean," lifted from last year's acclaimed 'Dead End Kings' opus. The video was shot by Lasse Hoile, notable for his previous work with the Katatonia as well as Opeth and Porcupine Tree.Watch this badass video now!

In related news, it has also been announced that Katatonia is shortlisted for a Swedish Grammy award in the 'Best Metal Album' category for 'Dead End Kings'.

This year also sees the band embark upon an Australian tour with countrymen Opeth in March, as well as an extensive North American tour in April and May.

Commented guitarist, Anders Nyström, "Back in the U.S.A...That's right Springsteen! We're looking at round number two as special guests to our brothers in Opeth on their last North American leg of the Heritage World Tour. This time we'll mainly cover off-territories, so regardless if you caught or missed us last time, consider this a second chance to attend the dead ends of North America with one of the best bills there'll ever be!"

The tour will make two special stops, the first in Worcester, Mass. on April 20 where the band returns to play the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival, then in Clifton Park, N.Y. on April 28 where acclaimed Porcupine Tree front-man Steven Wilson will join for the night. The "Death To All Tour" (presented by Perseverance Holdings Ltd.) is returning this year in benefit of Sweet Relief. Once again, the short tour will feature a handful of DEATH All-Starts, as well as various special guests. This tour is to celebrate the life and music of Chuck Schuldiner, as well as to raise awareness of Sweet Relief Musicians Fund — a charity that provides financial assistance to career musicians faced with illness, disability or age-related problems.

Earlier this week, the event organizers posted the following message regarding the tour dates and lineup:

"DEATH TO ALL was chosen as the number 1 live event of 2012!

"Just to let everyone know that we are trying to get everyone's schedules to coincide in order to do more shows. Much of this surrounds Gene Hoglan's personal touring schedule, as he is busy as hell (thankfully!). We've all agreed that 2014 will be the year of DEATH TO ALL worldwide, but there is a chance for some shows in 2013... not sure just yet... as some of the guys have stated that they don't wish to do it again. But we do have a hardcore group of former DEATH dudes waiting for the chance to hit the road again. Viva DEATH! :)" - ERIC GREIF

MACHINE HEAD: Fall Tour With DETHKLOK, ALL THAT REMAINS & THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER Announced!

MACHINE HEAD will spend the next few months on the road, doing what they do best and that's lay waste to stages across the U.S., reducing them to piles of rubble and ash.

In advance of the tour, in mid-September, “Darkness Within,” one of band’s most powerful offerings, will ship to Rock radio.  The video for the track can be viewed HERE.

The Bay Area Metal titans will embark on what is sure to be one of the "must see" tours of the fall season with Dethklok, All That Remains and Black Dahlia Murder. That lineup translates into one helluva night for North America's Metalheads.

The trek kicks off on October 24th with a “warm up show” in Louisville, Kentucky, 2 massive radio festivals in Orlando and Tampa Florida, and then begins with Dethklok on Oct 30th at The Norva in Norfolk, Virginia and will hit 33 cities before wrapping on December 8th in Atlanta, Georgia.

This tour will also be offering a limited number of Machine Head VIP Meet and Greet packages, look for updates and links coming later this week.

MACHINE HEAD will be further supporting their 2011-released masterwork 'Unto the Locust', which was dubbed "a landmark for MACHINE HEAD, a landmark for Heavy Metal" by ARTISTdirect and which was said to be an album that is so good, it "rewards revisiting" by Decibel. The record was also heralded as one of the best of the past year by many publications (including this one), capping off near-universal praise for another instant classic in the MACHINE HEAD catalog. Jon Wiederhorn of Revolver proclaims “in terms of quality and significance, Unto the Locust may well be this decade's Master of Puppets.”

DETHKLOK Premiere Music Video For NEW Song "I Ejaculate Fire"

As previously reported, DETHKLOK will return this fall with 'Metalocalypse: Dethklok Dethalbum III', the highly-anticipated follow up album that fans of the animated band have been begging for. The stars of the Adult Swim series Metalocalypse will unleash 12 brand NEW tracks that are more brutal than ever before in this fall’s release, set to hit stores throughout North America on October 16, 2012 from Williams Street Records. The "Dethalbum III" is once again co-produced by Metalocalypse co-creator Brendon Small and Dethklok producer Ulrich Wild (The Dethalbum and Dethalbum II). The cover art was also illustrated by "The Dethalbum" and "Dethalbum II" cover artist Antonio Canobbio.

"Dethalbum III" will not only be released in its original CD and digital format, but also as a Deluxe Edition CD/DVD and a clean version of the CD. The Deluxe Edition CD/DVD will include a 32-minute behind-the-scenes documentary of the making of "Dethalbum III", as well as music videos and much more. The stars of the Adult Swim series Metalocalypse will unleash 12 brand NEW tracks that are more brutal than ever before in this fall’s release, set to hit stores throughout North America on October 16, 2012 from Williams Street Records. The "Dethalbum III" is once again co-produced by Metalocalypse co-creator Brendon Small and Dethklok producer Ulrich Wild (The Dethalbum and Dethalbum II). KNOTFEST Poster Revealed - Check It Out!

As previously reported by Ticketmaster.com, SLIPKNOT will be headlining the inaugural installment of their own festival, "Knotfest", on Friday, August 17 at Mid America Motorplex in Pacific Junction, Iowa and on August 18th in Somerset, on the border of Wisconsin and Minnesota.
