Cryptopsy: Interview With Legendary Drummer Flo Mounier

Since 1992, Canadian Death Metallers CRYPTOPSY have been changing Heavy Music without ever compromising their aural assault. After influencing tons of bands worldwide and establishing their signature sound as the way Death Metal should sound, the band has made it very clear that they have many more years to go.

In order to celebrate their 20th anniversary, CRYPTOPSY recently released 'The Best Of Us Bleed'. This compilation gathers 32 stunning songs in approximately 140 minutes of playing time, including 3 exclusive, newer studio songs, several rare live/demo/cover/bonus tracks as well as selected cuts from the first 6 studio albums by these technical Death Metal pioneers. The striking cover artwork of this compilation was designed by Toshihiro Egawa (SUICIDE SILENCE, KRISIUN, ABIGAIL WILLIAMS, etc.) and the booklet contains extensive biographical liner notes by Adrien Begrand (Decibel Magazine). Here is the exact track-listing of the release:

Also, look out for CRYPTOPSY's brand-new, self-released 7th studio album entitled Cryptopsy out now via Century Media Records! As previously reported, CRYPTOPSY's guitar maniac Jon Levasseur will be forced to sit out the band's upcoming tour dates in support of their NEW, self-titled album. Filling in for him will be former CRYPTOPSY member Youri Raymond.

We recently had the chance to chat with the bands legendary drummer Flo Mounier about the legacy of CRYPTOPSY and how they have managed to establish themselves as a force to be reckoned within the ever changing Heavy Music world! Check it out and keep supporting true Death Metal!
