"Harry Potter" Learning Heavy Metal Music For New Role!
According to Blabbermouth, Daniel Radcliffe from "Harry Potter" says that he had to listen to plenty of Heavy Metal music in order to prepare for his NEW role in the supernatural thriller "Horns".
In "Horns", Radcliffe plays Ignatius "Ig" Perrish, a 26-year-old guy who wakes up to find horns sprouting from his head. And to help him unleash the demon within, Radcliffe turned to Rock music.
"I'm listening to a lot of Metal and allowing that slightly demonic Rock N' Roll spirit out. There's nothing else like it," the 23-year-old actor told The Sun.
Radcliffe has described his NEW role as "deeply emotional and also incredibly outrageous in some ways."
He added: "To play somebody who, in the midst of a time in his life of great turmoil anyway, undergoes this horrific transformation into a devil character — it was very, very exciting."
Based on the novel by Joe Hill, "Horns" was directed by Alexandre Aja and written by Keith Bunin.
