JOB FOR A COWBOY Joined By The Red Chord’s Mike "Gunface" McKenzie!

JOB FOR A COWBOY are currently readying for their month-long Summer Slaughter trek, set to commence next week in Los Angeles. Bassist Nick Schendzielos will be forced to sit out part of the run due to a family emergency. The band will be joined temporarily by The Red Chord guitarist Mike "Gunface" McKenzie.

Comments Schendzielos: "Hey friends: On June 28, immediately after landing in Boston to rehearse for Puerto Rico/Summer Slaughter, my girlfriend was in a head-on collision on her scooter. She sustained very serious head and bodily injuries. I flew right home, and we've been in the ICU for a week and are still in the hospital to make sure everything is okay. She needs 24/7 supervision for at least two weeks once we get out of here, so I'm very grateful to announce that Gunface from The Red Chord is going to help me out filling in on Summer Slaughter until I can meet back up with it. We love the dude very much and it's going to be really cool for both JFAC and TRC fans to see. Enormous thanks for understanding this difficult situation and I'll be back as soon as possible!"

Adds McKenzie: "I'm excited to be playing with JFAC on this tour. Great dudes in this band as well as in the bands on Summer Slaughter. Playing bass is a little different for me but definitely an interesting challenge. I'm definitely looking forward to getting out on the road again. Nick's bass work is incredible and I'm working hard to get all of his parts down. Sending positive vibes out to him and his lady."

JOB FOR A COWBOY will be touring in support of Demonocracy, released earlier this Spring through Metal Blade Records. Called “…an ass-kicking, skull-cracking record,” by Alternative Press and “…a very strong exercise in slickly-produced, technically sound death metal…” by Decibel, the maniacal Jason Suecof-produced masterwork tackles a host of political and economic themes and continues to raise the eyebrows of fans and media alike. Don’t miss the band on Summer Slaughter!

THY WILL BE DONE Release NEW Single "You The Apathy Divine" On iTunes!

Rhode Island's THY WILL BE DONE recently completed work on a brand NEW EP that is slated for release later this summer. The band, renowned for their DIY approach, engineered the EP themselves and teamed up once again with acclaimed Metal producer Zeuss to mix their six brand NEW studio tracks. With influences and roots that harkens the listener back to Metal's glory days, and songs and arrangements that echo the voice of the oppressed and broken, the end result is a release that brings hope and far surpasses its predecessors, and in all aspects possesses the capabilities of cementing THY WILL BE DONE's position in the Metal world. More details, including title and release date will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Today the first single from the EP "You, The Apathy Divine" is available for purchase on iTunes. A direct link to purchase the single is located HERE.

Frontman J. Costa commented on the iTunes release of the first single from their forthcoming EP:

"With the overwhelmingly warm reception we received at Orion Fest and with the new single that was unveiled last week, it just seemed like it was the most natural thing to do. We were meeting some existing fans as well as new fans at Orion Fest who were asking when they could actually own some new music; it just made sense."

THY WILL BE DONE are headed to Japan for a co-headlining tour with Japanese crossover legends The Aggressive Dogs. The tour will kick off on June 29th in Kasihwa and runs through July 8th in Nagoya. A list of confirmed dates can be found below.

With this current line-up of J. Costa on vocals, Kurt Fraunfelter on rhythm guitar, Chris Drapeau on lead guitar, Brendan Misturado on bass and Jay Waterman on drums, a plethora of foreign and domestic performances, and literally hundreds of thousands of miles traveled, it appears that values and drive mixed with an old school Metal and Rock N' Roll upbringing have brought together a juggernaut of a band that's clearing a path with a working-class ideology.

THY WILL BE DONE represents another chapter in the evolution of heavy metal. Their 2012 dose blends the thrash and groove elements that offered some of the late eighties and early nineties most memorable bands and albums, and yes, there are even solos too. THY WILL BE DONE is poised and ready to continue the Heavy Metal lineage and illuminate a new generation with the ways of the old.

"The song, 'You, The Apathy Divine' occurs in what is the proverbial middle of the EP and is a pivotal point of the recording with its own musical and lyrical intermezzo. Decibel agrees crowning the record a “…very stronger exercise in slickly-produced, technically sound Death Metal smart enough to know that a little variety can do a tech-death band a world of good.”

JOB FOR A COWBOY Are Coming For JAPAN - Details Available!

Death Metal collective JOB FOR A COWBOY today announce four special headlining dates in Japan! Following their trek on the Metal Alliance tour, which is currently underway, the band will play two shows in Tokyo as well as Nagoya and Okinawa beginning on May 18. Confirmed dates are below:

- 5/18/2012 Shibuya Cyclone - Tokyo, Japan w/ Unite
- 5/19/2012 Sakae R.A.D - Nagoya, Japan w/ Infernal Revulsion, Death I Am, Hostile Eyes, Neuerwind
- 5/20/2012 Shibuya Milkyway - Tokyo, Japan w/ Arise In Stability, Metal Safari, Infernal Revulsion, Death I Am
- 5/21/2012 Chatan Salt & Papper - Okinawa, Japan w/ Illuminati, Shores, Roach, Shakes Beard

JOB FOR A COWBOY will be touring in support of their brand NEW studio recording, 'Demonocracy', released in North America last week through Metal Blade Records. The intricate, Jason Suecof-produced offering tackles various political and economic themes and continues to crush the masses nationally. In a recent review Ultimate-Guitar noted of the record: "The album plays like a constant assault, and while never backing off it still manages to add enough structure for individual songs to become memorable," adding that, "the soloing is surprisingly catchy and well-executed while still managing to sit well in the context of the songs." Alternative Press calls Demonocracy "an ass-kicking, skull-cracking record," while Stereokiller agrees: "…a solid slab of some really heavy technical Death Metal. JOB FOR A COWBOY has separated themselves from former peers such as All Shall Perish and Whitechapel, and has now firmly fitted themselves with the likes of Suffocation and Dying Fetus."

In related news, the fourth in the "The Leads Are Weak" instructional video series by guitar wizard Tony Sannicandro is currently posted for your viewing pleasure. Subtitled "Getting Sexual," Sannicandro elaborates: "One of the most important things to me in soloing is good phrasing. The first half of the 'Misery Reformatory' solo is a pretty cool example of good phrasing that fits the song. It would have been easy to go to the classic E-minor and start burning like the clap, but I figured it would be better to break it down a little simpler and make it sexy. This is easy to play but it's a good lesson in outlining the solo like the curves of a beautiful broad." See for yourself!

Metalliance Tour, featuring Dying Fetus, DevilDriver, The Faceless,   Job For A Cowboy, 3 Inches Of Blood, Impending Doom, and Wretched  (Remaining tour dates).

- 4/19: Dallas, TX @ House Of Blues

Today, Steven Tyler had two teeth implanted inside his mouth by a dentist in Paraguay... to replace the ones he lost in that nasty hotel shower accident yesterday.

Once they complete their South American trek, they will be heading to Japan for yet another tour. Murphy's Law is turning Japanese

The legendary New York Hardcore band Murphy's Law (formed in 1982 in Queens, NY) is known for bringing the ruckus wherever they perform at. Thanks to the shenanigans that vocalist Jimmy Gestapo brings to the table, the band is the ultimate party band. Don't get confused though, they take pride in being a very tight band that takes their music very seriously but still has fun while performing their perfect blend of Hardcore Punk and Ska.

Murphy's Law is:
- Jimmy Gestapo (Jimmy Drescher) - Vocals
- Tim Miller - Guitar
- Raven - Sax
- Felipe Lithgow - Bass
- Tucker Rule - Drums

Japan better be ready for Murphy's Law, as the band is gearing up for a two week run that will begin on July 1st at Thunder Snake in Atsugi and will conclude on July 10th at Club Border in Hiroshima. Joining Murphy's Law on their Japanese tour are We Are All One and Aggressive Dogs (A.K.A. Uzi One).

What can the Japanese crowd expect? Check these videos out to get a taste of the great times that are ahead for thousands of Japanese kids.
