Jamey Jasta is Streaming his Debut Solo Album "Jasta"!

Jamey Jasta released his debut record simply titled "Jasta" last week on July 26th, 2011 via eOne Music. A record many years in the making, and a very different project for Jasta. On this new musical adventure Jasta joined forces with various top notch Heavy Music musicians and presented to the masses his first solo album. When we first talked to Jasta about this new project, he made it very clear that it all came to life when he realized that he had written a ton of good songs that didn't fit with the sounds of Hatebreed and/or Kingdom Of Sorrow.

Mahavatar Exclusive Song Premiere

A unique act on the Alternative Metal scene due to its leading female lineup, Mahavatar's strains reveal a singular ability to deliver tense and anguished themes, pulled by tumultuous guitars and ponderous Rock features. The band's mission is also defined by the meaning of their designation. The word itself, Mahavatar, has an Indian origin significance of immortality, but the New York crew adjoined it with their very own particular signification: Mind Hypnotic Vision Towards Revolution.

Many bands have been attributed as influences, but all agree that Mahavatar represent a unique force in the music world. Mahavatar have also been featured on radio stations in the UK, Canada, Australia, France, Belgium, Norway, The Netherlands and the USA. One of the many stations that help spread the message of Mahavatar in the USA is 89.5 FM WSOU, Seton Hall's Pirate Radio, where Mahavatar's "The E Song" was chosen as the Street Patrol Show Cut. WSOU is a NJ based college radio station that averages 100, 000+ listeners a day and is the most popular radio station on the East Coast for hard-edged music. About DREAM THEATER:

Progressive metal band Dream Theater formed in 1985 under the name Majesty by John Petrucci, John Myung and Mike Portnoy. Though a number of lineup changes followed, the three original members remained together along with James LaBrie and Jordan Rudess until September 8, 2010, when Mike Portnoy left the band. In October 2010, the band held auditions for a new drummer, and added Mike Mangini to its roster.

Dream Theater’s tenth studio album, Black Clouds & Silver Linings (Roadrunner Records), was released on June 23, 2009. It entered the U.S. Billboard 200 at #6 and Eurochart Hot 100 at #1, marking their highest entry on either chart. Black Clouds & Silver Linings - a highlight of their 25-year career - was praised by Mojo magazine’s Paul Elliott: “…their lofty ideals remain intact. By modern criteria, Black Clouds & Silver Linings is as highbrow as The Mars Volta, as grandiose as Muse and as heavy as Metallica.”

The legendary progressive metal masters have sold in excess of 10 million records and DVDs worldwide.

The Swedish Heavy Metal band In Flames released their 10th studio album titled "Sounds of a Playground Fading" on June 15 via Century Media, and in order to spread it to the masses they jumped on board the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival. Unfortunately, the band has been forced to pull out from the festival. Here is the band's OFFICIAL statement:

It is with huge regret that today with immediate effect In Flames must cancel their current US shows as part of the Rockstar Mayhem Festival and their own US Headline shows. But due to a serious terminal illness of one the band’s immediate family members they feel they have no option.

We have had the most amazing and fun times as part of the Rockstar Mayhem Festival and we are truly grateful for all the support the whole festival has shown

We will be back at the start of 2012.

Once again our apologies
