CANNIBAL CORPSE Premiere Second Studio Video Of The Making Of 'Torture'!

A second video clip from CANNIBAL CORPSE’s 'Torture' sessions is currently viewable below. The band will unleash their twelfth offering of audio devastation to North American fans on March 13, 2012 via Metal Blade Records. Listed among Decibel’s “Top 25 Most Anticipated Extreme Records Of 2012,” and crowned “pure Death Metal mastery from one of the best bands the genre has ever produced” in an early review by Zero Tolerance, Torture was produced by Hate Eternal’s Erik Rutan at his own Mana Recording Studio in St. Petersburg, Florida as well as Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas.





CANNIBAL CORPSE will kick off their official U.S. headlining tour this April. Sponsored by Metal Blade Records, Good Fight Entertainment and dB Drum Shoes, the U.S. Torture Tour 2012 will commence on April 5 in Jacksonville, Florida and level 23 stages before coming to a close on May 3 in Gainesville, Florida. Support on the near month-long trek will be provided by Exhumed, Abysmal Dawn and Arkaik.

SLASH Releases More Behind-The-Scenes Videos From The Making Of His NEW Solo Album!

At present time, legendary guitarist Slash is locked in a Los Angeles studio putting the final brush strokes to his second solo album. The as-yet-untitled disc is set to be released on May 22nd via Slash's own label Dik Hayd International distributed through EMI and it will be the followup to his 2010 debut album, "Slash", and his November 2011 first-ever live solo album, the two-CD/DVD set "Made In Stoke 24/7/11".

On his latest musical creation, Slash — along with and his bandmates Myles Kennedy (vocals), Brent Fitz (drums) and Todd Kerns (bass) — teamed up with producer Eric Valentine, who also produced the Slash's debut solo album. All the songs were written together by Slash and Kennedy, and cameras have been rolling throughout the entire making of the album. Check out some more exclusive behind-the-scenes right now.

NAPALM DEATH Premieres Third Video Of Mark "Barney" Greenway Describing 'Utilitarian'!

Mark "Barney" Greenway, the frontman of the legendary Grindcore band Napalm Death, is now giving fans the third preview of his bands upcoming NEW album entitled 'Utilitarian'. Below you can watch the premiere of the third of four video clips. The band's shouter, guides you through the next four songs on the album: "Orders of Magnitude", "Think Tank Trials", "Blank Look About Face" and "Leper Colony". In addition to featuring an explanation of the meaning behind each song, this track-by-track is also spiced-up with audio samples of all the NEW album songs that Barney refers to. Set to be released on February 27th in Europe and February 28th in North America, 'Utilitarian' is the four-piece's 14th studio album, and it promises to live up to the bands everlasting legacy as leaders of extreme music-- so prepare yourself for a NEW grind classic!

Upon the release of 'Utilitarian', Napalm Death's limited-edition 'Analysis Paralysis 7" EP' will also be available for purchase at CM Distro in black and clear vinyl. Its B-Side includes the exclusive track "Youth Offender", making this 7" a very collectible piece for any diehard Napalm Death fan! LORDI's 'Otus' Tonmi Lillman Passes Away At The Age Of 38 - Rest In Peace!

Another one of our Heavy Metal warriors has cease to exist. It has been confirmed by the Finish Heavy Metal band Lordi that their drummer 'Otus' Tonmi Lillman has passed away at the age of 38. Our condolences go to his family, friends, band-mates, and fans. Here is the bands official statement:

"Our dear friend and bandmate, 'Otus' Tonmi Lillman, has sadly passed away [at the age of 38]. He will be greatly missed and we send our condolences to his family and friends.

"Otus: we thank You from the bottom of our hearts for the short time we got to know you and spend with you together. Rest in peace, friend."

Due to the fact that the members of LORDI wear masks all the time in order to keep their personal identities private, Lillman's status as a member of LORDI had never been publicly acknowledged until now. Lillman joined Lordi in October of 2010 as the replacement from Kita, after Kita was fired. 'Otus' Tonmi Lillman will be missed by the entire Heavy Music community.
