Dez Fafara Discusses Musical Career with DevilDriver & Coal Chamber!
Ever since 1994, Bradley James Fafara (A.K.A. Dez Fafara) has been pushing his artistic abilities to the furthest limit possible. Founding member of the Heavy Music powerhouses Coal Chamber and DevilDriver, Fafara is constantly perfecting his music abilities. Just like a true warrior, Fafara knows that the only way to stay on top is to keep on fighting by working hard on his craft and persevering regardless of the obstacles his faces.
As we all know, Fafara left Coal Chamber in 2003 due to internal problems and soon after formed DevilDriver. While both bands possess a similar flavor when it comes to the energy that Fafara transmits through his vocals, DevilDriver seems to be the hard-hitting aggressive child of Coal Chamber! While Dez's main focus at the moment is DevilDriver, he recently announced that Coal Chamber is reuniting for a series of shows in Australia that are part of the Soundwave festival series.
Currently, DevilDriver is on tour with Arch Enemy, Skeletonwith, and Chthonic, as part of the 'North American Khaos' tour! A few weeks ago, this stellar lineup took over the Best Buy Theater in Times Square, New York City. Prior to DevilDriver warming the crowd up for headliners Arch Enemy, we had the chance to speak with Dez Fafara about his musical career with DevilDriver and Coal Chamber, among other things. Check out this awesome interview out!
