Corey Taylor from Slipknot and Stone Sour, is always on the rise and never stops growing as a human being. Not only is he part of one of most successful bands in Heavy Music history, but this year he released a book entitled "Seven Deadly Sins: Settling the Argument Between Born Bad and Damaged Good", which made it to the New York Times Best Sellers list.
Taylor's latest accomplishment happened on June 8, 2011, when he was asked to conduct a lecture at Oxford University. In case you live under a cloud of smoke, Oxford University is one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the world! The message that Taylor had for all those who attended this lecture, is one that everyone should read:
"Too many people chase dreams that they don't understand," he said. "Too many people try to go for things that they'd like to do but they're not realistic enough to know they don't have the talent."
So what's next for Corey Taylor? Taylor will be embarking on a national solo tour billed as “An Evening With Corey Taylor". These shows will be a rare opportunity for many fans to interact with Taylor in this intimate a setting, and vice versa.
