MOTÖRHEAD Forced To Cancel Kempten Concert Due To LEMMY's Health - Details Available!

 a
This just in: legendary British rockers MOTÖRHEAD were forced to cancel tonight's (Tuesday, December 11) concert in Kempten, Germany. The reason? The band's iconic frontman "Lemmy" Kilmister caught the flu.

As previously reported, MOTÖRHEAD have announced that they will be entering the studio in January with longtime producer Cameron Webb to begin recording their next studio album for a mid-2013 release. "We'll go into the rehearsal room about a month before the album and just bang stuff out," MOTÖRHEAD mainman Lemmy Kilmister tells Billboard.com.

In a recent interview with Artisan News, MOTÖRHEAD drummer Mikkey Dee stated about the band's plans for a new CD, "We have a lot of songs done already. It's not finished. We're gonna keep writing and we'll record it next year, and it will come out next year."

In other MOTÖRHEAD news, the band has unleashed 'The Wörld Is Ours - Vol 2 - Anyplace Crazy As Anywhere Else', the follow-up to 2011’s 'The Wörld Is Ours - Vol 1 - Everywhere Further Than Everyplace Else'.
