KREATOR Unleash NEW Music Video For "Civilization Collapse"

German Thrash Metal titans KREATOR recently unleashed a NEW 7 inch entitled 'Civilization Collapse' (retail version: black; Nuclear Blast mailorder-only version: red, yellow, white) and as a digital download.

The single contains the title cut backed by the non-album track "Wolfchild", which was featured on the "Dark Symphonies - A Tribute To John Sinclair" album, released this past September in Germany via Lübbe-Audio. The band also made a video for the song "Civilization Collapse", which is said to be "mainly about the riots that took place in Greece most recently."

While researching the above-mentioned riots, the KREATOR art direction team became aware of Marios Lolos, president of the Greek union of journalistic photographers. In the past, Greek photographers have become victims of police brutality and Marios himself barely got out alive when he was subjected to one of these extreme attacks.

When KREATOR showed Marios the song and the lyrics, he immediately agreed participate by offering parts of his huge photographic archives.

Today, the great folks over at Metal Hammer are premiering the bands music video for "Civilization Collapse":

KREATOR is:

- Miland 'Mille' Petrozza: Vocals, guitar
- Sami Yli-Sirniö: Guitar
- Christian 'Speesy' Giesler: Bass
- Jürgen 'Ventor' Reil: Drums

Mike Patton's TOMAHAWK Announce Fall Tour & Release Date For NEW 7-inch Single!

TOMAHAWK, the underground super group that includes Duane Dennison (The Jesus Lizard, Unsemble), Trevor Dunn (Fantomas, Melvins Lite), Mike Patton (Mondo Cane, Faith No More) and John Stanier (Battles, Helmet), have announced a brief fall tour kicking off on October 27th at Nashville's The Exit/In.

Tour dates are:

- October 27: Nashville, TN at Exit/In
- October 28: New Orleans, LA at Voodoo Music Experience
- October 29: Memphis, TN at New Daisy Theatre
- October 31: Dallas, TX at Granada Theatre
- November 1: Houston, TX at Fitzgerald's
- November: Austin, TX at Fun Fun Fun Fest

TOMAHAWK will preview music from 'Oddfellows' (January 2013, Ipecac Recordings) with the release of a 7-inch single titled "Waratorium" on Nov. 23 (Record Store Day's Black Friday event).  The b-side will be an original etching by famed cartoonist and comics scholar Ivan Brunetti.  A digital release for "Waratorium" follows a week later.

"This is a full-on Rock album," Dennison recently told Rolling Stone. "There's no quirky weirdness - it's very straightforward for us. There's almost like this weird, upbeat sound, what I call 'heavy pop," and Patton totally got the vibe right away... really heavy Beach Boys."

TOMAHAWK has been  dormant for the past five years after releasing a trio of albums: 'Tomahawk' in 2001, 'Mit Gas' in 2003 and 'Anonymous' in 2007. The band last performed live in 2003.

Legendary NYHC Band THE MOB to Release 7" Single "Back to Queens"

Sometime during 1980 searching for a harder/faster outlet than the current NYC punk rock trend, three teenagers from Jackson Heights, Queens: Jack Flanagan, Jose Gonzalez and Ralph Gebbia formulated THE MOB. Once the concept was established they added high-school bud Jamie Shanahan on drums, to round out the 4 piece assault. The early MOB sound was heavily influenced by what was going on in L.A. and D.C. With NY not having a true representative taking up this new sound and culture THE MOB chose to carry the flag. THE MOB were not alone in this endeavor and these ideas, as others were feeling the same excitement and picked up guitars, mics and sticks in pursuing these same ideas: which turned into the first wave of the NYHC scene.

Fast forward to 2012 and THE MOB is back in business. This year's Black N' Blue Bowl marked THE MOB's return to the stage and to the forefront of the NYHC Scene after a ten year absence. Along with performing at the Black N' Blue Bowl this year, THE MOB has recorded their newest offering "Back to Queens" which will be released in true "MobStyle" as a 7" vinyl including the track "That's It". This release is limited to 1000 individually hand numbered copies which were signed by all four members of the band and then shrink-wrapped making this a true collector's item. The EP is available for pre-order on Amazon.

'Back To Queens' is the first in a series of four 7" singles that will be released by THE MOB on Weathermaker Music. The artwork for the singles was created by famed New York tattoo artist Mr. Den. While each single has its own distinct artwork, once all four are released each piece takes on a new meaning as one part of a complete piece of art.

There will also be a digital version of the single available which includes a bonus offering of "Zoo Crew".

Stereo Killer is hosting an exclusive premiere of "Back to Queens" below. Be one of the first to hear it before it is released.

THE MOB recently completed work on a video for 'Back To Queens'. The video was directed by Drew Stone, who is known for his work documenting the Boston Hardcore Scene, particularly in his film "xxx All Ages xxx". Photos from the video shoot can be viewed on The Mob's Facebook page.  Look for the video to be released in the coming weeks.
