Gil Sharone from the STOLEN BABIES is one of the top drummer in Heavy Music today. If you have had the chance to see him perform with his band STOLEN BABIES or with THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, or with PUSCIFER, or even with SUM 44, you know that Gil plays with a lot of heart. His precise technique is widely known and through the clinics that he oftens organizes, he has been able to pass the torch to young upcoming drummers.
STOLEN BABIES are currently on tour with SEVENDUST, COAL CHAMBER and LACUNA COIL, in what is by far one of the best tour packages of 2013.
Prior to his bands performance at the Best Buy Theater in New York City on April 17, Gil sat down with us to talk about this great tour and how STOLEN BABIES are catching a break following their hiatus. We also chatted with him about his musical career, jamming with his brother Rani, and about the recent passing of Chi Cheng from the DEFTONES (RIP).
