The brass Metal brawlers of Fallstaf are wishing everyone happy holidays and they would also like to thank everyone who has supported them during 2011 by offering their latest single "Eulogy" as a FREE download (see the link below). The track is one of the from their recently released debut album "Bastard Sons of A Pure Breed".



In addition to the 2011 year coming to an end, Fallstaf have been mentioned on Decibel Magazine's Top 5 Non-Metal Instruments on a 2011 Album category for their trombone hitman. Check it out on pg #54 of Issue #87 Jan 2012.

"Bastard Sons of A Pure Breed" features 11 tracks of fury; self-produced by Fallstaf, and mixed and mastered by Kevin Jardine (Slaves on Dope) of Uplift Studios and is the follow up their 2009 EP "The Hitman Plays Trombone". Blending aggressive trombone of the Hitman with heavy rock, thrash and hardcore influences, Fallstaf are excited to unleash a new sound to the metal family tree, which was born out of their other more soften music collective North East Bistro.

Fallstaf, the Canadian brass Metal band with a trombone hitman, are offering their track "The Cost" from their recently released debut album "Bastard Sons of A Pure Breed" for FREE.

Canadian Brass Metallers Fallstaf Offer A New Taste Of Metal On 'Bastard Sons Of A Pure Breed'!

Who said that having a brass section in your band is not Metal? In times were too many bands out there are sticking to a one-dimensional formula, Canadian Metal band Fallstaf are going against the grain! Make no mistake, their music doesn't just stand out because of having a trumpet mixed in with distorted guitar sounds and screaming vocals, the band possesses the knowledge of what it takes to write good music!

Expressing their darkest moments from their corner of the world with a creative Metal soundscape, Fallstaf released their debut full length “Bastard Sons of a Pure Breed” on October 25, 2011. On this 11 track album of fury, which is the follow up to their 2009 EP “The Hitman Plays Trombone” and was self produced by Fallstaf, and mixed and mastered by Kevin Jardine (Slaves on Dope) of Uplift Studios, the band adds a new sound to the Metal family tree.

Hiring a hit man can sometimes to be seen as a means to an end, but not for this Montreal, QC Metal dudes. With their aggressive tendencies and energetic approach to lay it all out in the mosh pit, these brawlers realized that hiring a hit man with a trombone is the means to fuel the fire and only the beginning of what has become.

Forming their own new genre dubbed “Brass Metal”, out of their other more soften music collective North East Bistro. Fallstaf is the angry brother who has melange the trombone assassinations of the hit man with their brand of aggressive/Heavy hitting Metal that ranges in influences from heavy Rock, Thrash and Hardcore.
