HATE ETERNAL Is Coming To Sur América & América Central - Details Available!

Death Metal titans HATE ETERNAL have announced a week-long tour that will take them through Central America and into South America. The band's first-ever trip to these countries begins with a September 1st show in Mexico City, Mexico as part of the UltraMetal festival and concludes with a Sept. 8 stop in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

HATE ETERNAL is touring in support of its latest full-length, the critically-acclaimed 'Phoenix Amongst the Ashes'. 'Phoenix…' was a staple in 2011 years' end Metal "Best-of" lists and is arguably the finest album in the band's long and storied career.

"a stop-starting, tempo-shifting, weird-riff-unleashing example of Death Metal at its most dynamic. Far from a dead end, this is a whole NEW path." Decibel Magazine, #6 on Decibel's Top 40 Extreme Albums of 2011

"Hate Eternal is one of the most important, vital 'true' Death Metal bands in existence." Lambgoat.com

"'Phoenix Amongst the Ashes' is an explosive and chaotic cacophony of guttural barks, complex, discordant riffs and detonating blastbeats… Hate Eternal have solidified into an unstoppable isosceles war triangle of death, with General Rutan bulldozing his way through enemy lines, reinforced by drummer Jade Simonetto and bassists JJ Hrubovcak." Terrorizer Magazine

"Phoenix showcases a far more dynamic band. Guitar passages range from weedly to art-y to textured… juxtaposing break-neck verses with near-mid-tempo groove sections… Simonetto takes the gold for endurance." DRUM! Magazine

HATE ETERNAL "Phoenix Amongst the Ashes" South & Central American Tour:

- Sept. 1 Mexico City, Mexico @ Circo Volador (as part of Ultra Metal w/ Absu, Malevolent Creation)
- Sept. 2 Medellin, Colombia @ Cero Radical
- Sept. 4 Bogota, Colombia @ Club Cadillac
- Sept. 6 San Jose, Costa Rica @ Club Peppers (w/ Symphony X, Kamelot, Fractal Reality)
- Sept. 7 Managua, Nicaragua @ Casa Del Obrero (CST)

CANNIBAL CORPSE To Release NEW Album - Artwork, Track Listing & First Single Revealed!

America's reigning kings of brutality, CANNIBAL CORPSE, will unleash their twelfth studio offering this March via Metal Blade Records. Aptly titled 'Torture', the follow-up to 2009's 'Evisceration Plague' offers up 12 tracks of maniacally precise, soul-searing Death Metal. Torture was again produced by Hate Eternal's Erik Rutan at his own Mana Recording Studio in St. Petersburg, Florida as well as Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas, and features the maniacal cover art by longtime CANNIBAL CORPSE artist, Vincent Locke, viewable below.

While 'Torture' marks the latest progression in the band's sound, it also witnesses a return to what drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz accurately terms "the frenzied attack of 'Butchered At Birth' (1991) or 'Tomb Of The Mutilated' (1992)," infusing the band's advanced musicianship with the raw savagery that haunted their earlier releases, and in the process conceiving the definitive CANNIBAL CORPSE record. Adds bassist Alex Webster on the outcome of the record: "We're extremely happy with how 'Torture' turned out. Erik Rutan did an amazing job with the production, and the songwriting and performances may be our strongest yet. We can't wait until our fans get to hear the whole thing!"

Witness the gutting sounds of "Demented Aggression", the band's first single, as well as studio footage, right here, right now!

04. Encased in Concrete
05. As Deep As the Knife Will Go
06. Intestinal Crank
07. Followed Home Then Killed
08. The Strangulation Chair
09. Caged…Contorted
10. Crucifier Avenged
11. Rabid
12. Torn Through

As a precursor to the release, CANNIBAL CORPSE will perform a special one-off show at the Culture Room in West Palm Beach, Florida on January 22nd then head to the seas to take part in this year's edition of the '70,000 Tons Of Metal' Cruise. The band will get a short break before a near month-long march through Europe on the 'Full Of Hate' 2012 tour with labelmates Behemoth.

Goatwhore & Hate Eternal To Team Up For U.S. Tour!

Label mates Goatwhore and Hate Eternal will be hitting the road on February 18th for a several week co-headlining tour. The supporting bands on the tour will be Fallujah and Cerebral Bore. The tour will take the bands from New Orleans to Brooklyn, with stops along the way in Hollywood, the Pacific Northwest and Canada. All tour dates can be seen below.

'Phoenix Amongst the Ashes' was released on May 10th and was hailed as "a relentless, intricate, and near-anthemic crowd-pleaser" by Revolver Magazine. Albert Mudrian of Decibel Magazine declared that 'Phoenix Amongst the Ashes' is "the best Death Metal record I've heard in FOREVER!" while the folks over at Metal Sucks proclaim that "Phoenix Amongst the Ashes is the moment Erik Rutan's entire career has been leading towards -- it's heavy, it's catchy, and it's innovative. This is the best Death Metal album of 2011 so far, and other bands are going to have to work pretty hard to top it." Jade Simonetto's performance was complimented by the highly respected DRUM! Magazine: "Phoenix showcases a far more dynamic band. Guitar passages range from weedly to art-y to textured… juxtaposing break-neck verses with near-mid-tempo groove sections… Simonetto takes the gold for endurance." Needless to say, 'Phoenix Amongst the Ashes' could very well be considered the best of the band's long and storied career.

Goatwhore is preparing to announce the details of their NEW effort. Goatwhore experienced a meteoric rise in 2010. Their song "Apocalyptic Havoc" appeared on the soundtracks for Splatterhouse and Saints Row: The Third, video game titles released for Xbox 360 and PS3, the video for the same song was used in an episode of Last Call with Carson Daly, they toured as part of Ozzfest 2010, and they also toured with Watain, The Black Dahlia Murder and more. 'Carving Out the Eyes of God', released at the tail end of 2009, was met with praise from fans and critics alike and hailed as one of the best Metal albums of the year.

Cannibal Corpse Enter Studio with Producer Erik Rutan

Death Metal masters Cannibal Corpse have just announced that they will be entering the studio with producer Erik Rutan from Hate Eternal to record their twelfth studio album. Once again, the band will be working Sonic Ranch studios. The band has spent months writing the album and has recorded at Sonic Ranch in the past, but never with Rutan at the helm. More details on the album, including art, songs, title and more will be revealed in the months to follow. For now, the band is hard at work carving their next Death Metal offering.

"After having spent the past 7 months writing and rehearsing new material, we're very excited to finally begin recording. We've had great success working with Erik Rutan on our past two albums so we've decided to work with him again, but to keep things fresh we decided on a change of location - we're returning to Sonic Ranch studios in Texas, where we've recorded several albums in the past. We are psyched to see how this combination works out- we feel it's pairing that could result in our best album yet." - Bassist Alex Webster

Erik Rutan worked with Cannibal Corpse for both "Kill" (2006) and "Evisceration Plague" (2009) and is returning for a third time. Rutan explains further: "I am super excited to work with Cannibal Corpse for our 3rd album together. We are determined to make the best album we possibly can. Everyone is very focused and the new material is awesome. There is a great blend of classic, old school CC with a newer, more heavy, dynamic and aggressive approach. I look forward to the challenge of making one heavy as hell record!"

Cannibal Corpse's latest release, the "Global Evisceration" DVD, was released March of this year and contains nearly three hours of live and behind the scenes footage of the band as they traveled to 10 different countries in 18 days, three of which were countries the band had not previously played.

The Roots Bloody Roots of Erik Rutan from Hate Eternal!

This past weekend we had the privilege of seeing Hate Eternal perform live and loud at Santos Party House, alongside Origin, Vital Remains and Abysmal Dawn! Prior to the show we interviewed Erik Rutan about his extensive career as a Death Metal musician and as a Heavy Music producer. While we had always heard great things about Rutan, it was refreshing to find out that he is one of the most humble and professional Death Metal musicians out there. During the interview we discussed Hate Eternal's newest album "Phoenix Amongst the Ashes", as well as his work with other bands like Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, Nile, Agnostic Front and Madball, just to name a few.

During the conversation we also discussed how Rutan was transplanted from New Jersey into Florida, in order to establish himself as a big player within the Death Metal scene. Buckle up and enjoy this exclusive interview which features live footage of Hate Eternal as well as some bad-ass pictures! ENJOY! \m/

Death Metal Paradise/Hell at the Hate Eternal, Origin, Vital Remains & Abysmal Dawn show in New York City!

This past Sunday (July 10), Death Metal titans Hate Eternal were joined by the mighty Origin, Vital Remains and Abysmal Dawn, for one of the best Death Metal shows that has ever taken place at Santos Party House in New York City. From the moment we arrived and heard Hate Eternal's sound-check, we knew that it was going to be a great night full of headbanging, cold beers, crowd-surfing, windmilling, and lots of mosh-pitting! This show once again is proof that the New York City Heavy Music scene is RISING!

From the moment the show started with Abysmal Dawn from Los Angeles, California, the crowd lost their minds, and some even lost their shoes!

After the crowd had a chance to catch their breaths, drink a cold beer, and smoke a stoge... Vital Remains from Providence, Rhode Island, took center stage and made Santos Party House rock like a hurricane!

Then it was time for Origin from Topeca, Kansas, to tear up the entire place! During their entire set crowd-surfers from all ages and races, surfed over and over again on top of a sea of people! To say that Origin warmed the crowd up for Hate Eternal is an understatement!

Without losing any time, Hate Eternal from St. Petersburg, Florida, stepped on stage with the arduous task of following a ferocious set by Origin. Lead by Erik Rutan, Hate Eternal always fly the Death Metal flag with full power and might! The adrenalized crowd growled Rutan's lyrics with so much passion, that right after the show was over Rutan says to us: "Holy shit! This is the best show of the tour! I just want to end the tour now, because it wont get any better than this!" We have an exclusive interview with Erik Rutan coming very soon, so stay tuned!

Hate Eternal to Perform at Santos Party House in New York City

Hate Eternal are currently busy infecting the masses with some pure Floridian Death Metal, and presenting to them their sixth studio album titled "Phoenix Amongst the Ashes" (Released on May 10, 2011 via Metal Blade Records). Here is what Erik Rutan had to say about their latest album:

"The response to our new album "Phoenix Amongst The Ashes" continues to be incredible, and we hope to see all you guys out on this U.S./Canadian tour. The show each night is gonna be awesome! Thanks so much for all your support. It is what keeps us strong!"

Phoenix Amongst the Ashes was released on May 10th and was hailed as "a relentless, intriciate, and near-anthemic crowd-pleaser" by Revolver Magazine. Title sponsor of the tour, Decibel Magazine, proclaimed "Rutan's ornate melodies engage in a constant give-and-take with moments of absolutely vicious discordance, while drummer Jade Simonetto is so in control of such complex cadences and fills that you're compelled to sit back and marvel." Jade Simonetto's performance was further complimented by the highly respected DRUM! Magazine: "Phoenix showcases a far more dynamic band. Guitar passages range from weedly to art-y to textured…juxtaposing break-neck verses with near-mid-tempo groove sections…Simonetto takes the gold for endurance." Needless to say, Phoenix is in the running for one of the best overall death metal releases of 2011 and could very well be considered the best of the band's long and storied career.

On Sunday, July 10, 2011, Erik Rutan and company will take over Santos Party House in New York City. This show is not to be missed by any Heavy Metal fan out there! Joining Hate Eternal on stage will be Origin, Vital Remains, Abysmal Dawn. The show starts at 7 PM and tickets are only $18 (in advance).
