OVERKILL Unleash Behind The Scenes Studio Footage - NEW Album Coming Soon!

OVERKILL have revealed a behind the scenes video that outlines the recording process they used for their upcoming NEW record 'The Electric Age'.

Recorded at GEAR Studios, owned and operated by bassist D.D. Verni, the video outlines specific gear and techniques used and how it had shaped the bands raw unfiltered sound over the last few releases.



OVERKILL will release "The Electric Age" due out on eOne Music March 27, 2012 in North America, while the record will be released in Europe on Nuclear Blast Records on March 30, 2012.

The band will tour the US this spring on their very own KILLFEST 2 this spring in support.

Thrash Metal Titans OVERKILL Release NEW Album Details For 'The Electric Age'!

Legendary Thrash band, OVERKILL have announced their next full length entitled 'The Electric Age' due out on eOne Music March 27, 2012. The record will be released in Europe on Nuclear Blast Records on March 30, 2012. The band will tour the US this spring on their very own KILLFEST 2 this spring in support (tourdates below).

'The Electric Age' was recorded and mixed at Gain Studios in New Jersey, owned and operated by bassist D.D. Verni. This is the bands followup record to 'Ironbound' released in 2010 which received much critical praise. Decibel Magazine went as far to add, "Call this Thrash, or whatever: to us, it's just Metal. And damn good Metal, at that."

System Divide To Join Forces With Overkill On "Killfest 2" - 'The Conscious Sedation' Available Now!

System Divide will return to the US once again for "Killfest 2", supporting the mighty Overkill! Also on the tour are Belphegor, Aborted, Blackguard and Diamond Plate. Most recently, System Divide was part of the hottest chicks in hard Rock tour with In This Moment. After the Overkill dates finish on May 12th, System Divide will journey north of the border to Canada for a string of dates. More details on those shows will be made available soon.

Vocalist Sven DeCaluwe adds, "We couldn't be more excited to be on this run with Overkill, we just finished a few dates in Europe which was a blast and are currently busy writing new material which we will display on the Overkill run. Overkill Announce Lineup For "Killfest 2" + Studio Update!

Legendary Thrash Metal band Overkill are currently busy in the studio working on their NEW as of yet untitled studio album. The band was actually offered to be part of the current Anthrax and Testament North American tour, but had to decline since they're busy tracking their 16th studio album.

However, Overkill has confirmed that they will be cruising along the Caribbean as part of the "70,000 Tons Of Metal Cruise." They have also announced that they will be hitting the road in the Spring of 2012 with Belphegor, Aborted, Blackguard, System Divide and Diamond Plate. The event dubbed as "Killfest 2" will kickoff on April 20th at the Trocadero Theater in Philadelphia, PA and will conclude on May 12th at the Best Buy Theater in New York City! Overkill released "Ironbound" in 2010 which charted at 168 on the Billboard Top 200, the bands fastest selling record in 16 years. A video was also filmed for "Bring Me The Night" in Brooklyn, NY with director Kevin Custer (Hatebreed, Testament, Suffocation).
