DevilDriver Begins Working On Their Sixth Studio Album!

Currently, DevilDriver are taking some time off the road as they prepare to perform at these years South By South West and to headline the second edition of the Metalliance Tour! But if you think the DevilDriver boys are at home scratching their bellies, think again.

Today, guitarist Jeff Kendrick posted the following update:

"‎Mike Spreitzer, John Boecklin and myself have begun the process of writing and demoing the 6th DevilDriver album!!! Excited to get it going!!!"

DevilDriver released their fifth album entitled 'Beast' on February 22, 2011 via Roadrunner Records and have sold over 11,000 copies in the United States on its first week of release to debut at position No. 42 on The Billboard 200 chart.

In March of 2012, the headbangers of North America will welcome the second chapter of the Metalliance Tour! The lineup includes Devildriver, Dying Fetus, The Faceless, Job For A Cowboy, 3 Inches of Blood, Impending Doom and Wretched. The tour kicks off March 15th in Austin, TX as a part of the SXSW Music Festival and runs through April 21st in Houston, TX. A complete list of dates can be found below.

Metalliance Tour To Feature DevilDriver, The Faceless, Job For A Cowboy & Dying Fetus - Initial Tour Dates Announced!

Are you ready for the 2012 "Metalliance" tour? Make sure you warm your neck up for some serious headbanging, cleanse your liver, gear up for some good times, and for gods sake put on some damn deodorant! The event will take place in March and April 2012, and it will feature DevilDriver, The Faceless, Job For A Cowboy, and Dying Fetus.

This not to be missed tour was put together when music industry veteran Steve Seabury (author of Mosh Potatoes) got bored and decided to make his childhood dream a reality. His dream? To throw a kick ass Rock show with some of his favorite bands. Judging from these years lineup, his dream is a reality. But now the fans need to represent our awesome music and sell out all of the shows! This will makes Steve and the rest of the "Metalliance" team, dream awake!

Pantera land), and going from coast to coast for the next month, this tour promises to be one of the best of the year. The event will be headlined by New York legends Helmet, who will be joined by Saint Vitus, Crowbar, Kylesa, Red Fang, Howl, and Atlas Moth!

This not to be missed tour was put together when music industry veteran Steve Seabury (author of Mosh Potatoes) got bored and decided to make his childhood dream a reality. His dream?
