THE WINERY DOGS, An All NEW Supergroup, Announce NEW Label Home!

The Winery Dogs, the power trio featuring Rock veterans Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater, Avenged Sevenfold), Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big) and Richie Kotzen (Mr. Big, Poison), have signed with Loud & Proud Records. The Winery Dogs’ self-titled debut album will be released in North America on July 23. THE WINERY DOGS was self-produced and mixed by Jay Ruston (Anthrax, Stone Sour, Steel Panther). It features a classic Rock/power trio sound which seamlessly melds the immense talents of the three veteran rockers.

The band has already released two videos from the NEW album, “Elevate” and “Desire,” the latter of which recently premiered on Ulitmateclassicrock.com. Both videos can now be seen below.

Of The Winery Dogs’ signing, Mike Portnoy commented, “I am so excited about The Winery Dogs and am proud and honored to be working with two of the greatest musicians on the planet! Richie Kotzen is such an unbelievable talent, as a vocalist, guitarist and songwriter. I think The Winery Dogs will finally get him the attention and recognition that he so richly deserves. According to Theprp.com, there has been a strong rumor going around in regards that AVENGED SEVENFOLD, DEFTONES, and GHOST B.C. are planning to join forces on a full fledged North American tour this Fall. As soon as this tour is confirmed, you will be the first to know!

PENTAGRAM Announce Live Rituals In North American & Europe!

Heavy Metal legends, PENTAGRAM, will be returning to the road in 2013 in Europe, as well as North America, for select shows and festivals. The band will once again perform at Maryland Death Fest as well as Farmageddon Records Music Festival, Metaldays (Slovakia), Barroselas Metalfest XVI (Portugal), and more. Tool Announce North American Tour Dates!

Recently, a rumor surfaced that Tool had entered the studio to start recording their fifth studio album, which will be the follow up to "10,000 Days" (2006). As of right now, the band hasn't confirmed or denied this rumor and the fact that have announced more shows in early 2012 is definitely a good sign! Stay tuned to see what the Tool camp has in store!

Deftones 2011 Tour

The deftones are taking over New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Japan, The Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Canada, and the United States! Part of the proceeds from this tour will go to their bassist Chi Cheng, who has been in a come after he was in a serious car crash in 2008!
