Nine Inch Nails Are D O N E Recording, NEW Album Out This Year!
Oh yeah! Trent Reznor has confirmed that NINE INCH NAILS are done recording their eight studio album. In a press release, Reznor said:
"I've been less than honest about what I've really been up to lately. For the last year I've been secretly working non-stop with Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder on a NEW, full-length Nine Inch Nails record, which I am happy to say is finished and frankly fucking great. This is the real impetus and motivation behind the decision to assemble a new band and tour again. My forays into film, HTDA and other projects really stimulated me creatively and I decided to focus that energy on taking Nine Inch Nails to a new place. Here we go!"
Additionally, NIN will be touring this Summer! Here are the confirmed tour dates:
07-26: Niigata, Japan at Fuji Rocks Festival
07-28: Ansan, South Korea at Ansan Valley Festival
08-02-04: Chicago, IL at Lollapalooza

08-15: Hasselt, Belgium at Pukkelpop
08-16: Biddinghuizen, Holland at Lowlands Festival
08-18: Hockenheim, Germany at Rock 'n' Heim

NINE INCH NAILS Announce Their First Few Comeback Concerts!
In case you missed it, earlier this week Trent Reznor posted this message regarding the future of NINE INCH NAILS:
"Nine Inch Nails are touring this year.
"I was working with Adrian Belew on some musical ideas, which led to some discussion on performing, which led to some beard-scratching, which (many steps later) led to the decision to re-think the idea of what Nine Inch Nails could be, and the idea of playing a show. Calls were made to some friends, lots of new ideas were discussed, and a show was booked - which led to another, which somehow led to a lot of shows.
"The band is reinventing itself from scratch and will be comprised of Eric Avery, Adrian Belew, Alessandro Cortini, Josh Eustis, Ilan Rubin, and me. The first shows will begin this summer, followed by a full-on arena tour of the US this fall, and lots of other dates worldwide to follow through 2014.Trent has already booked the following gigs:
"Lots of details and dates to come. See you soon."

Fuji Rocks Festival, which takes place from July 26 to 28 in Niigata, Japan, and Rock ‘n’ Heim Festival, which takes place July 16 to 18 in Hockenheim, Germany. We are pretty sure more tour dates will be announced soon, so stay tuned!

Trent Reznor Announces The Return Of NINE INCH NAILS - Statement Available!
Last year, Trent Reznor told Rolling Stone that NINE INCH NAILS is working on NEW material. In an interview surrounding Black Ops 2, Reznor was asked about the likelihood of new NIN music. "All signs point to yes," he said. Pressed further, he added, "Yeah, there will be new music. There are some things in the works."
Those "things" could also include live performing again. "Yeah, if it feels right, it's a possibility," he says. "I never said that that wasn't going to happen, just that it couldn't go on as it was. Having a few years doing other things, I've enjoyed [them] and I'm enjoying doing How to Destroy Angels, and there will be a place for stuff that falls in the Nine Inch Nails column of things. It's a different kind of work. Stay tuned. We'll see what happens here."
Well, guess what? Reznor has announced that NINE INCH NAILS is back!
