Darkest Hour Discuss Past, Present & Future of Musical Career!

Washington D.C.'s Melodic Death Metal badasses Darkest Hour have been hard at work ever since their inception in 1995. With seven albums under their belt and thousands of live performances, they are prove that if a band can combine great songs, great stage presence, and focus on their musical craft no matter what surrounds them, the sky is the limit! By no means is Darkest Hour escaping the decline of the music industry, but they definitely seem unaffected by it when they step on stage and make sure everyone grooves out of control. Simply because most bands within the Heavy Music scene know that they have to struggle in order to succeed.

During the recent Summer Slaughter Tour, we had the chance to interview co-founder and guitarist Mike Schleibaum about the past, the present, and the future of the bands musical career. While he makes it obvious that they are very happy with what they have achieved thus far, he makes it clear that if fans don't understand the importance of supporting the scene by purchasing music and merchandise, that bands wont be able to keep delivering a solid product.

Check out this interview we did with Mike while at the Summer Slaughter Tour show in New York City's Irving Plaza.
