As previously reported, last night BARONESS was involved in a serious accident while driving between shows as they tour the U.K in support of their NEW album 'Yellow & Green' (available now via Relapse Records). The band played at The Fleece in Bristol on the night of August 14th. They were on their way to Southampton when the accident happened.
The accident happened at around 11:30 AM local time at the junction of Brassknocker Hill and the A36 in Bath. The band's tour bus crashed and fell 30 feet over a viaduct!
Seven people were taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath, while two others — who were trapped and had to be rescued by firefighters — have been transported to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol. "Those people are now being treated by ambulance staff," a fire service spokesman told BBC News.

BARONESS's NEW Kickass Album 'Yellow & Green' Is Available Right Now!
BARONESS, who recently graced covers of both Decibel and Hails & Horns Magazines, have earned near perfect reviews for the expansive set with Spin describing the release as "alternative rock's brawniest soul-purge" and adding that "beastly event-records like this only come once in a full moon." Alternative Press awarded 'Yellow & Green' four stars, NPR said the album offers "an embarrassment of melodic and riff-based riches," Metal Sucks said this is "Baroness' crossover masterpiece" and the BBC said this is "a beautiful next step in the ongoing saga of Baroness."
Do you agree? Listen to the album right HERE and then let us know what you think by using the comments section below.
'Yellow & Green' was recorded in late 2011 at studios in New Jersey and Dallas with the band reuniting with co-producer John Congleton (Explosions in the Sky, St. Vincent, Xiu Xiu) for the 18-track collection. A series of behind-the-scenes clips chronicling the recording process have been released in the weeks leading up to today's release and can be viewed on the band's You Tube page.
Baroness is currently in Europe for a seven-week tour with upcoming performances at Pukkelpop and the Oya Festival. The band's next U.S. date is a free show at the House of Vans in Brooklyn on Aug. 29. Tour dates are:

BARONESS: NEW Song "Eula" Ready For Your Ears Now!
BARONESS give listeners a final taste of what's to come on their eagerly anticipated NEW album 'Yellow & Green' (set to be released on July 17 via Relapse Records) with the premiere of a third song, "Eula", courtesy of Spin.com.

Baroness have previously released two songs from Yellow & Green: "Take My Bones Away" HERE and "March to the Sea" HERE; streaming here:
