SCION Rock Fest: TESTAMENT, THE MELVINS, C.O.C., WHITECHAPEL, MUNICIPAL WASTE & More Confirmed!

As previously reported, the Scion Rock Fest returns in 2013 and it promises to be another awesome event celebrating Heavy Music. The event will take place on June 1st in Memphis, Tennessee. 

Today (March 26), the event organizers have revealed the entire lineup. The Melvins, Municipal Waste and Pallbearer will be joined by 17 additional acts including co-headliner Testament, plus Corrosion of Conformity, Whitechapel, Negative Approach and many more.

As always, Scion Rock Fest is a free event, but you must RSVP to attend. The RSVP will open on April 10, 2013, at the Scion AV website.

Watch Footage Of The Mayhem Fest Press Conference!

The 2013 ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM line up and tour dates have been released! The headbanging kicks off on June 29th in San Bernardino, California and includes a return to Toronto, Canada and the first time the tour rolls through Bangor, Maine and Austin, Texas.

In celebration of the events sixth anniversary, the organizers decided to host a free for all press conference/concert at the Whiskey A Go Go right in the heart of the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, California. The event took place this past Monday, March 18, and served as the platform for the lineup to be announced.
The 2013 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival lineup this year features Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, Mastodon and Amon Amarth on the main stage.
The Festival area will showcase Machine Head, Children Of Bodom, Behemoth, Job For A Cowboy, Emmure, Born Of Osiris, Motionless In White, Butcher Babies, Battlecross, Huntress, Thrown Into Exile and City In The Sea.

This year's tour will, for the first time, feature four stages - The Rockstar Energy Drink Main Stage, The Jagermeister Stage, Musicians Institute Stage and the Sumerian/Headbang For The Highway Concourse Stage which will feature local bands performing and announced in June.

Once again, ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL producers John Reese and Kevin Lyman are bringing North America the biggest Heavy Music event of the summer. The 2013 Mayhem Dates have been released! The headbanging kicks off on June 29th in San Bernardino, California and includes a return to Toronto, Canada and the first time the tour rolls through Bangor, Maine and Austin, Texas.

Blast From The Past: Watch SLIPKNOT's Groundbreaking Debut At The Dynamo Open Air In 2000!

On June 3, 2000, SLIPKNOT debuted at the Dynamo Open Air in Nijmegen, Holland. For many years the bands vocalist Corey Taylor considered the performance below as the best one in the bands career. Charged with eleven songs and plenty of fire, SLIPKNOT went insane as soon as they stepped on stage with their infamous intro "742617000027" and didn't stop until their closed their set with "Surfacing". Dozens Of Fans Injured By A Lightning Bolt At Germany's WITH FULL FORCE!

On Saturday night (June 30th), numerous concertgoers (51 to be exact) were hurt and 9 sustained serious injuries when a single lighting bolt struck a master at Germany's "With Full Force" music festival. According to Spiegel Online (a German news source), the lightning strikes sent some music fans flying through the air — and left behind a wasteland of destroyed tents, panicked guests and a venue flooded with mud and deep puddles. Emergency services spent several hours at the scene treating those who had been sheltering in a cocktail bar near where the lightning struck, The Local reports.

The festival annually attracts tens of thousands of visitors in the town of Roitzschjora near Leipzig. We hope that all this fans recover smoothly and are ready to rock as soon as possible!

Bastards Lager: MOTÖRHEAD's First Real Rock Beer!

Heavy Metal legends MOTÖRHEAD have launched a real Rock beer for all beer lovers and it is called Bastards Lager. The beer is brewed by Swedish brewery Krönleins and can be ordered by the whole case from Systembolaget, the Swedish state liquor shop.
