Earlier this week, Jon Lord of Deep Purple died earlier at the age of 71. The co-founder and keyboard player with the Heavy Metal pioneers passed after suffering a pulmonary embolism. Earlier this year, Lord was diagnosed as suffering from pancreatic cancer, a normally swiftly developing and deadly form of cancer. Lord was was surrounded by his family at the London Clinic. The origin of Heavy Metal can be traced back to pivotal trailblazers like Deep Purple. Their monstrous sound was a precursor to the decades of Metal mayhem that would only follow in the shadow of this legendary band. Now, with Jammit you can hear Deep Purple from a perspective that only few have had the privilege. Isolate or remove Blackmore’s guitar, Lord’s organ, Paice’s drums, Glover’s bass or Gillan’s vocals from the rest of the mix.
Follow the scrolling scores with slow down and section looping—even record your own performance—Jammit makes it easy to “join” the band! Join DEEP PURPLE right now by clicking HERE!
